I do want to point out that [ Destiny Star ] Chaltier and [ Destiny Star Zero ] Chaltier (left, and right, respectively) do have different constructions.

Destiny Star Zero’s Chaltier may have, at some point in the past, worn a similar skin. However, for the lonely task left to him and Dymlos, there is no need for any guises, nor will there ever be again, in all likelihood. Chaltier’s final mission will take years, and function trumps form in this case.  Insulation and plating suffice as well, and he needs easy access to his body’s own components and ports for a variety of reasons, mainly maintenance, since there isn’t anyone else around to put him back together if something goes wrong. Dymlos isn’t exactly equipped for that.  Considering that his body is well over a thousand years old at this point, even Harold’s brilliant design is beginning to show its age.  As long as it lasts long enough to see this mission through, however, then nothing else really matters.
