more silly lilies btw. plants don't always have a clear difference between leaves and petals. or between petals and stamens, though that's harder to see until the flower actually opens.

#this year a lot of these are making incomplete flowers. somewhere in between 0 (the wisp) and 1 (normal 6 petals)#sometimes you can cut out that weird bud and let the rest develop.#but if they're ALL funky on the stem then it limits what the florists can use them for. u_u #the roselily oriental lilies are doubles - instead of stamens they have more petals. usually. sometimes you get half-petal-half-stamens.#again: plants just do whatever
