I finished Shield Hero!!!

I finished it a few days ago!!

Sooooo, ngl, not too big of a fan of it! Like, okay don’t get me wrong, the idea of the story had SOOO much potential!! But the writing itself…it was really bad! In so many ways!!! It was as bad as SAO, and that’s saying a lot! X,3 Cuz most know I couldn’t stand that!

Just, so much could’ve been done better, it drives me crazy! But I won’t go on a rant, cuz I’m kinda glad I’m done! XD

I loved some characters, and some I completely despise! XD

Just, gosh I really could rant for hours, but I don’t wanna! XD

So yeah, just a lot going on that isn’t good!

On the other hand, the animation style is so nice!!! I so love that!!

The change in VAs for Nalfumi was a bit of a struggle for me tho in s2, but I just had to ignore it! X,3

As for Nalfumi and Raphtalia, I honestly don’t ship it, it’s just, well, it’s kinda weird to me, since he practically  raised her in a way? Idk, I just can’t really mind over matter that! XD Plus, there just isn’t enough spark there for me! It’s so one sided honestly! Maybe they get better in the manga, but I’m not intrested enough to continue tbh!

As for my favorite character, for a while I didn’t really have one!!!! Not until s2!!! Rishia!!!! At first I didn’t care much for her, but dang did she grow on me!!! She’s so shy and timid, and a scaredy cat, yet SO STINKEN COOL! XD Dang I loved that fight with her against that one guy who was controlling the Spirit tortoise!!!

Fighting for good, one widow bite at the time: Black Widow's cultural impact

Critics scoff when I call the Black Widow movie a favorite, but hear me out. It deserved a better release window, maybe at an earlier time, when things would've been viewed differently. Sure, it doesn't rise up what it could've been, leaving so much lingering dreams in the hearts of us, fans. So much potential remains untapped, so many questions unanswered... but Natasha Romanoff? She rises above it all. If you doubt her power, think again, and as I said, hear me out.

Black Widow, the assasin with steely eyes that hide and protect a heart of gold, has transcended the screen to become a cultural icon. From her first appereance in the MCU in Iron Man 2 (2010) to Black Widow (2021), she truly went through a lot, took us with her, and thaught everyone some lessons on the way.

Shattering the mold of the damsel in distress: She's no sidekick, she's a strategist and a fierce fighter. She is a vital member of the Avengers, that's a fact we saw in the 2012 movie. After all, how many characters can you name that tricked the God of Mischief? Nat didn't only do it exceptionally, she is the first we saw doing this on screen.

Reclaiming Narrative: Unlike many superheroes defined by singular origins, Black Widow carried the trauma of a dark past, manipulated by the Red Room, a notorious spy program. Her movie explored this narrative, acknowledging the exploitation and abuse she endured. This resonated with survivors of violence and abuse, offering validation and representation. Her journey of breaking free from her past resonated on a broader level, highlighting themes of resilience, empowerment, and overcoming hardship. Furthermore, she hasn't always been a hero, an avenger. "Regimes fall everyday. I tend not to weep over that, I'm russian" and "I've got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out" show how she's not just using the power she already has, but has the power to change as well. This isn't about brute force, it's about internal struggle and choosing to become a better version of herself despite her history.

Sisterhood and Solidarity: Black Widow's story wasn't solely focused on herself. In "Black Widow," she teams up with other women who share similar experience, even if at first this doesn't seem to work, indoctrinated as they are in the Red Room programme. This depiction of female solidarity resonated with audiences, particularly feminist movements advocating for women's support networks and collective action.

Representation Matters: Black Widow's portrayal as a skilled leader and strategist challenged existing portrayals of Russian characters in Hollywood. They are often depicted as villains or stereotypes, but her complex identity sparked conversations about diversity and representation within the superhero genre.

Defying stereotypes: As the sole original female Avenger, Black Widow carried a unique weight. She didn't need superpowers or a revealing suit — her determination and arsenal spoke for themselves. That's true power. I mean, in some situations she only had two cool firearms, but did better than Captain America with a vibranium shield! I also love how her costume evolved over time, prioritizing functionality over sexualization. Ditching the impractical neckline in her solo movie? A much-needed win! It shows that Black Widow commands respect through her actions, not her body.

Her impact and importance punches like her combat skills, if you ask me.

Her unconditional support has become a talisman for Sam. Her on the sliding cheering just as loud, if not louder, calmed his nervousness and fueled his determination on the field.

Every play, every dash, every touchdown carries a silent dedication to her a silent message of gratitude for the constancy of her being there.

It's Y/N's gaze that Sam seeks out on the sidelines, a beacon of encouragement in the high-stakes theater of high school football.

Sam laced up his cleats with practiced precision, each movement a ritual honed through countless hours on the field. P.s. maybe another of Raphtalia choosing to get her slave bond reapplied because she feels off without it. It became a part of Her, she saw that SH truly cared for her when no one else did. So the slavers bond didn't really need to be applied, she would follow him to death with or without the slavers bond, but she felt as though she belonged to him and so she felt off not having it.

I believe this sort of love is very misunderstood, while people simply focus on a grotesque practice, she chose to look far deeper at the situation and into SH's actions pertaining to her protection, her needs, and even getting things that she didn't need but things she wanted and he knew would bring her Joy.

Spider Shield and His Villainous Friends

A Spider-Man x Rising of the Shield Hero story.

What if a different Naofumi was summoned to Melromarc? What if this one had powers? What if this Naofumi was from a world of superheroes and had powers? What if, when he was summoned as the Legendary Shield hero, he was summoned with a group of villains around his age?

So, this is a Naofumi is summoned with powers but a bit different. Basically, in Naofumi’s world, he replaces Peter Parker as Spider-man and is summoned to Melromarc during a battle with a team of villains around his age. They could be the iconic ones with different characters to fit in with the fact Naofumi lives in Japan, you could have Naofumi move to New York before he was summoned, you could make entirely new villains, and so on.

When Naofumi is falsely accused, he takes it a lot better than before due to having to deal with plenty of bad publicity and false accusations before. He’s still pissed that he got kidnapped and then accused, but not at the level of canon. Thanks to his powers, he’s also better equipped to handle the problems he had at the start with a low attacking stat.

As for Naofumi’s villains. At first, they’re acstatic to learn Spider-man’s identity. However, they’re angry at being summoned to another world with him, and having to play hero to get home. At first, they can decide to try making a killing doing their own thing in the new world... until they realize they don’t have the comforts of their world like the internet or T.V. When they realize the only way to gain access to those again is to defeat the Waves with the heroes, they decide to try testing their luck with the other three, not wanting to work with Spider-man out of pride or dislike for him. However, after seeing their incomptence, they bite their tongues and join Naofumi’s team in order to get home. Of couse, when they come depends on what villains you go with and what their relationship with Naofumi is.

It could be an interesting group dynamic where the villains and hero (plus others) get to know each other. Maybe Naofumi will be able to have them turn over a new leaf while they’re allies.
