Abahxvvs. I ,,,, LOVED that film as a teen. Hyperfixated on it for months. I also related to Helena!!! One of the names I considered when choosing a name was Helena for that reason. Ruled it out in the end but also was obsessed w the name Valentine but it never Fit me. Ye I love Helena and Valentine and every line in that film is burned into my psyche.

MIRRORMASK SOLIDARITY :D :D :D!!! this makes me so happy ur into this movie omg. 50% of the time people have no idea what this movie is and the other 50% of the time when they have watched it they just say the movie was creepy/scary/not good. tasteless souls, smh. does a movie have to be “good” for it to be one of my favorites? is it not enough to see a confused teenage girl in horrifying yet enrapturing fantasy world and immediately and inexplicably Understand? 

Every Single Time i see the “four legs in the morning, two legs in the noon, three legs in the evening” riddle my first thought is never the real answer and instead helena’s answer about the dog.

I ghostwrote this reply jfc ahsjsnan. I forced Jack to watch it once so that she would understand the context of “no I don’t want to be a waiter” and “I’m a very important man. I have a tower”. All I really succeeded in doing was getting her to join in on saying to our cat “we bought you from a man” and half the time I think she forgets the origin of that in joke. I love her dearly and she is handsome but she has no taste
