Me, listening to a jazz playlist on spotify and doing a double take when this song came on. For a second I thought I was listening to an undertale remix?

I stitched together a bit from the song (MotherLake by JABBERLOOP) and the same motif that’s in SAVE the World and Hopes and Dreams, followed by a bit of MotherLake again.......and.......yeah its literally the same lol.

Now, whether this is a case of pure coincidence, inspiration, or ~plagiarism~ I honestly have no idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Undertale came out in 2015. This Japanese jazz album is from 2017. There’s no record of any sort of interaction between JABBERLOOP and Toby Fox. Although, two people in the comments section of the music video for MotherLake agree with me that its very similar. So, I’m left with this mystery of how this same motif ended up in two different places.
