When working on the novella, nearly every time I write "Asirel said" the little fairy in my google docs grammar check thing decides to underscore it in blue and suggest "Asirel sad" instead.

I feel like that's all you need to know about the story.

I have just finished the first draft, only a few hundred words shy of a word count of 30,000.

Please ignore the hideous font. Comic Sans helps with writing, I have discovered.

#there are a few major fixes I still need to make #rewrite to add description and characterisation #the relationship between Reader and Asirel is so difficult in this one #and I know I made it up but their dynamic is so uncertain #having a lot of fun diving into this however #a lot of happy chemicals are floating around in my brain #despite the darker themes this novella focuses on #feels like a November read tbh #where autumn is still around the corner but the nights have that inky blackness that makes your heart feel void #I'm rambling
