seeing people falling for the ceo’s corporate speak and passing around posts going “wait guys the gutting of tumblr’s staff is actually good for the site they’re gonna be more focused now” is giving me migraines

#lin.txt #‘smaller and more focused teams’ is the most paper thin excuse for a massive amt of layoffs i have ever seen #how are you people believing that.#the reason tumblr functions so poorly is bc they only had like 100 people on staff which is a PITIFUL amount for a massive site like this #and cutting that in half or worse?? forcing double the responsibilities onto the remaining people??#things are going to break so much more frequently and not be fixed. reports of any kind will take like three times as long to get responses #genuinely what world am i living in. how do you all know not to trust any ceo ever until the moment our ceo says something
