omg yes!! i’m more than happy to trade my lunch (fic) with you <33 okie so basically the baby fic comes in the sequel to a pregnancy fic i’m working on rn (trying to fix the Mess that is s8). basically i’m gonna have shirley and laverne being the baby’s moms <33 and they’re gonna be so chaotic at it bc it’s Them and it wouldn’t make sense any other way (but dw the baby is in good hands <33). lenny and squig will play the role of the fun gay uncles who take the kid (don’t have a name yet but he’s gonna be a boy) under their wing and try to train him to be The Best Actor so they can sign him for their agency when he’s old enough to act (i have a very vivid scene idea of them standing over the baby’s crib and trying to teach him acting techniques 🥺). and at first shirley would be totally against it, but after she sees how much the boys care about her and vernie’s son, she gets more lenient. and while the kid and len and squig are off doing their thing, shirley goes to college to be a doctor and laverne works as an elementary school gym teacher (a detail that will grow during the pregnancy fic). i’m looking to make it as fluffy as possible bc that’s what the world (and me) needs <33 fic writing is going slow due to college but i am very passionate about this story!!
