I want to be supportive of polygamy because the bonobos make it look so viable but why is it that every time I come across a polygamous person on the wild internet they are always defending infidelity

#at what point do we look into the correlation between identifying as polyamorous and being a chronic liar #cuz lbr cheating is not a problem of having a misunderstood sexuality #its a problem of lying to somebody who wants to be monogamous bc you want to keep fucking them but dont want to stop fucking others #when you could easily just not fuck the monogamous person.... no thats too hard. too difficult. must cheat #the polygamous ppl ive met irl are also serial liars with the exception of stevie who doesnt even identify as polygamous #(i just have theories about her) which does not help me separate internet polygamists from irl polygamists since they act the same afaik #i dont seek out polygamous people either which may be part of the problem like i will be in the adventure time reddit or some shit #and some polygamist will pipe up unprompted about cheating and try to normalize it #in the fucking ADVENTURE TIME SUBREDDIT. WHY??????????#like why r u here showing us ur whole ass like that.......... but bc theres people acting like this #it makes me not even want to seek out polygamist spaces to learn more about them because their missionaries are all rancid
