call me a hater but web weaving has gotten out of hand
#it has people completely misreading fragments bc of lack of context#it feels oppressive & trite — words to fit a certain mood/aesthetic#goes to the whole idea of how media consumption is for external identity marking reasons#& call me dramatic but it dulls most people to the experience of reading a whole text because they just want the most gutting parts#the phenomenon of what i call “’reading to underline’ — reading to just mine the most ‘juicy’ bits#sad
