OH MY GOD THIS GOT POSTED

OKAY. okay. this post was written by a buddy of mine. it's fake. it's faker than fake. it's, in fact, from an RP. In a very ridiculous vampire RP i ran with friends, we thought it'd be funny to take a situation that genuinely happened, shave off the vampirism (so "we work for the vampire government" got changed to "we work at a nondescript company") and post it to reddit to see how long it'd take for it to get taken down (it lasted a few days!) Essentially: the two are old influential vampire men who slept together for YEARS, one of them developed feelings, the other did not and considered it, like, casual. this caused drama that... devolved. especially when both got into different relationships. if anyone's curious, it ended with the OP of the post orchestrating the attempted murder of the other, which played part in a larger coup of the local vampire government. these two will never speak to each other again... just kidding! this is just one of me and my friend's many AUs. In their current one, they have a baby together.

i know i tend to complain and be critical on the writing in scp wiki, but there are still scp articles I like even on the en branch, new or old: 4319, 4558, the whole HARBINGER II skips in series VII, 1831, etc. to dedicate my first actual positive post bout scp foundation, imma post about one of my personal favorite: SCP-3009 (and articles connected to it).

Basically SCP-3009 consists of two main entities: the main SCP-3009, an anomalous Snapchat account who claims to be a trapped Stacy Lee, and a real-life girl who claims to be Stacy Lee as well (to make things easier, we'll call the accound 3009 and the human girl 3009-C like it does in the articles). Thing is, it's unsure which of them are the real Stacy, so the Foundation has to contain both of them.

What I love about the 3009 article the most is regarding 3009-C. after some evaluations and a head-on meeting with 3009, 3009-C begins to doubt that she herself is the real Stacy Lee; after all, in comparison, 3009 tended to score a little higher compared to 3009-C in the accuracy to the Stacy Lee before. To 3009-C, all of a sudden there's a random account depicting herself that's better than her in every way and is just so confident that the account is the real Stacy Lee. maybe i'm exaggerating, but it's just a really good portrayal of imposter syndrome and depression that while i didn't cry, my heart did kinda feel heavy.

in addition, 3009 gets expanded on to, albeit in connecting Tales. she's shown to regret being so antagonistic to 3009-C in the bear Tale, and in subsequent tales it's shown that she doubts she'll ever get released from being a Snapchat account, so she might as well make do in helping the Foundation.

the last article that had SCP-3009 in it is really good too. 3009-C begins to show interest in her psychological diagnosis, so Kim, the researcher assigned to SCP-3009, brings her a book on psychology. while she shows minimal interest to the gift at first, Kim later finds her trying to read it. it ends with Kim agreeing to teach 3009-C. admittedly it's kinda simple, and i suck at summarizing, but it just hits so much harder in comparison to high stake scp articles with gods and magic and their "foundation bad serpent hand good" morality. like i actually CARE for the characters in the SCP-3009 arc.

anyways TLDR: SCP-3009 and Tales surrounding it are good and i recommend you read them
