i just saw the history boys play and oh my GOD I wish I could commit it all to memory, there were so many incredible parts of it. I can't believe it. I'm in awe!!!!!
#it was like. the og play but they added more singing!! suchhhh a unique performance!!#the history boys#sorry but them all singing stand and deliver together and 'HUH'-ing and stamping on the desks is imbedded in my mind#the person who played mrs lintott was BRILLIANT#scripps is my favourite character and there was a lot of pressure in my mind about liking him and lowkey i think i prefer this actor#to the film version#posner was played by the understudy and he absolutely stole the entire show too#also one of the history boys is played by a trans actor which was so so healing to see#the same trans actor that my mum has some kind of parasocial relationship with and has messaged on instagram before about MY transition?!?!?#he was AMAZING too
