anyways so i’ve been awol bc my friend and i did a day trip to provincetown yesterday and a day trip to salem today and i couldn’t be bothered to log my adventures on tumblr even though i should bc i basically use this site as a pseudo diary lol. (do i log my days anywhere else? no. and i really do want to log these past two days down somewhere).

#there is so much to log down lol #i had so many wonderful interactions with strangers these past two days like #truly the peak #had a fantastic convo with a gallery owner in provincetown who was super knowledgeable about the pieces in his gallery #and described each of the young up and coming artists to me and i wrote down every single one of their names #bc i loved all the art there and want to keep tabs #we also struck up a conversation with this guy in his 40s? 50s? while on the ferry back to boston who was visiting from washington state #and his hometown was apparently provincetown #and he's back for a family wedding #and anyways we probs chatted with this guy for like an hour #just talking about random things #and then today we were at a store in salem #i was wearing my wellesley cap #the person behind the counter was like omg are you a current wellesley student or did you go to wellesley??#turns out they are a current student #local to salem #and we also chatted for like 20 minutes #and just like!#HUMANS ARE SO GOOD #the pandemic has robbed us of these sorts of interactions #i've missed them aahhh
