I’m not out there hating on the casting of Alys but damn did I want an older poc actress… like imagine Anina Noki Rose?

But I’m really excited to see Gayle Rankin I’m sure she’s gonna do it justice and have beautiful on-screen chemistry with Ewan!

Yeah I was hoping for a black woman or woc too (honestly that’s probably gonna be still how I write alys in my fics). but I’m so excited to see Gayle and ewan on screen together. I’m just happy alys is being adapted in general 🫶🏽
