i reread evolution & yeah its still interesting how saren and tim react so differently to the same knowledge from the same artifact .. sarens got that .. maybe utilitarian is the word.. the whole “ruthless calculus” shit garrus brings up. which you could assume was part of turian military mindset & training maybe.. he wants to minimize the damage and maximize their chances but he recognizes the true threat of the reapers from the outset… vs Tim who thinks he can outsmart the reapers somehow & find a weakness of theirs to exploit
