The Panoramic Motel, on 21th Street lock of Surf Avenue in North Wildwood, is one of my favorite mid-era Doo Wop buildings, particularly for its color scheme, spacious windows, and irregular flagrock brick work, all elements of modernist architecture. Mighty colours from the aurora borealis / Northern Lights over Ireland last night.

Right on the lake, unusually calm waters and good reflections.

We have had some great displays this year and photographing the aurora in Ireland is always enjoyable.

Unfortunately I've been away from Tumblr for a while. So, my plan to post CN summer-related scenes is a bit out of season now. Still, consider the ones I'm going to show as a last hurray for the season before we really get deep into Fall.

Here we have both the joys and agony of summer in full display. It's appropriate most of these are from the Craig McCracken era of the show, where it was at its height stylistically. These panoramic scenes would feel right at home in an artbook or an illustrative text.

Panoramic view of Paris, France: You never get tired of seeing its grey zinc roofs stretch for miles, the views of Paris are always very popular.  the Eiffel Tower has several observation floors where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Paris. Similarly, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral offers access to the towers, from where you can admire the city's rooftops as well as the Seine.
