Yeah, I'm still pretty ambivalent. I kind of liked Eréndira but Márquez wrote the screenplay as well as the novella, and this is a much more complex project. Then again, everybody gangsta until there's a breathtaking shot of Remedios the Beauty floating away with the sheets or Mauricio Babilonia shows up with his kaleidoscope of treacherous little yellow butterflies, right?
