I’m pretty sure you’re joking, but like... dog walking/pet sitting is my job, I don’t go to people’s houses to “hang out” with their pets or make friends, I go to take care of the animals and make money. I work really hard for my job, I walk for eight hours a day (on concrete, I’ve already started developing a swollen ligament in one foot) with little to no time to eat or even take breaks. Besides, I’ve only met the owner and the dog in question once for like 15 minutes, I’m not going to someone’s house that I barely know to demand to spend time with their dog, that’s just weird and unprofessional :/
