Hoof shoe update? A lot has changed. My mothers boyfriend got his hands on some leftover resin (he works in home renovation) and decided to make the entire hoof out of it. The former wooden base got cut and i made a hoof out of clay to turn it into a form. Which means its extra heavy now but its fine i dont feel it anymore. Theyre way more stable but hard to walk in (the back is too long i feel; great for keeping balance but its weird to move in them). Fake fur came today which means i can finally do the leg fur bits and the ears. They dont really need to be taped anymore but it gives me more confidence

I feel like wasnt clear enough last time so just to not scare anyone: theyre not meant for long time wear. They are esentially a (photoshoot) prop and a cool little project i wanted to do for fun. I may one day make actual walkable hoof shoes for long term cosplay but it is not today. Wearing anything even slightly uncomfortable the entire weekend would kill me
