#i still think this one is mostly fine#like maybe today we don't really need it mich with our very developed hygiene and all#but im pretty sure if we couldn't at the very least boil water before drinking it the appendix would save us 100 times before it could kill#not sure there is much optimisation to do there i mean you gotta have this reserve and you need it where it can be used#the optic nerve is utter bullshit tho and cephalopods have a better version of the eye so if we're god precious babies why not having it?
