WIP WEDNESDAY!

Thought I'd share a lil snippet of my new wip with you all ;)

‘So,’ Lando started, lacing his fingers together on the table in front of him. ‘Since you’re my new teammate and we’ll be spending a lot of time together, there are some things we need to discuss.’  Oscar leaned back in his chair and raised his eyebrows, waiting for Lando to continue.  ‘Right, you’re a man of little words,’ Lando mumbled when Oscar didn’t say anything. ‘Here’s the deal, you will sometimes hear weird noises coming out of my driver’s room or maybe even my hotel room if they put us next to each other. If you do, you are under no circumstances to come in, don’t even bother knocking, just stay in your own room.’  Oscar blinked at his new teammate, watching as his cheeks turned pink and he ducked his head like he was embarrassed.  ‘Ehm, okay?’ Oscar just said, not sure how else to reply.  What was Lando doing in his room that made him tell him this? What kind of noises was he talking about? He wanted to ask all kinds of questions, but he didn’t know Lando well enough yet to feel like he was allowed to pry.  Lando looked up and cocked his head, his eyes glancing over Oscar’s face like he was trying to figure him out. Oscar just stared back at him and raised his eyebrows once more.  ‘You’re not going to ask?’ Lando leaned forward on the table a little.  ‘No, you can tell me more if you want, but otherwise I won’t.’  Lando opened his mouth, but quickly closed it again before pursing his lips and nodding. ‘Okay, I have one more thing to ask of you.’  ‘Shoot.’  A piece of paper was placed in front of Oscar.  ‘Will you please sign this NDA?’

I have no idea when this fic will come online yet, I've only written two chapters so far, and Shut Up And Drive has my priority for now. I'm having the MOST fun writing it tho 🥰
