Fun facts about Madoka Amano
Her given name Madoka can be written with kanji variations and often means circle or round, which might be a reference to beys, as they are circular.
Coincidentally, her Shogun Steel counterpart is called Maru, which means circle.
Her family name, Amano, means:
天 (Ama) – "Heaven" or "Sky"
野 (No) – "Field" or "Plain"
This ties well with the constellation naming theme in the Metal Saga.
Madoka is the first main female character in the show and the first female character to appear.
She was not designed by the series' creator, Takafumi Adachi, and as such, she does not have a major role in the manga. However, he has drawn her from time to time in special chapters.
Madoka never battled, except in episode 22, when she prevented Kyoya from causing irreparable damage to Leone by using a generic bey: Mad Northern Cross.
She is the character that appears in the most episodes in the entire series, as she was a main character in all three seasons and maintained a major role in Zero-G, unlike Gingka.
She shares similarities with Kenny/Manabu Saien from Bakuten Shoot, as both have similar hair color, glasses, and a computer, and both serve as the technician of their respective teams. Coincidentally, her successor/apprentice, Maru, calls her "Chief," which is also a title that Kenny had.
Madoka was an integral member of Team Gan Gan Galaxy as the mechanic.
She is the only character to hold this position in the World Championship, though teams such as Star Breaker and Lovushka had a manager.
She is the main character with the fewest battles.
Madoka is the only non-combatant who initially went to Hades's Kingdom to stop Nemesis, as she helped Tsubasa fly the helicopter.
In Zero-G, she became Tsubasa's assistant.
She is the second character from the original season to appear in Zero-G and the second we actually see as an adult.
Though her main role is repairing, maintaining, and analyzing beys, Madoka has other skills as well. She appears to be proficient in hacking, as seen when she and her friends infiltrated both Dark Nebula Headquarters and Hades City.
She also has extensive knowledge of physics, as seen in her discussion with Aleksei about superstring theory, which attempts to explain all particles and fundamental forces within one theory.
Madoka also stated that she built her computer herself.
She appeared to have some kind of interest in Aleksei upon their first meeting, though it might simply be that she was happy to find someone to discuss something other than beys.
At the end of Fury, Madoka was tasked with repairing all 12 beys used by the bladers who fought against Nemesis.
This means Madoka has repaired almost every legendary bey, except for L Drago Destroy and Diablo Nemesis.
During the Battle Bladers finals, she calculated that Gingka only had a 0.03% chance of winning, though she chose to ignore it.
In Fusion, she had a photo of the group, as well as Kenta's friends, and Tetsuya. However, she appears to dislike him especially in later seasons, which is understandable, as he kidnapped her.
She is the only member of Team Gan Gan Galaxy to stay by Gingka’s side after the World Championship.
Madoka is the first character to appear in Metal Fury who had already appeared in the previous seasons.
She is the one who witnessed the Star Fragment entering Pegasus.
The character she battled the most is technically Kyoya, since she aimed to stop him, though Yu and Gingka were also part of the battle.

If there isn't a battle between Quadra and Ilya by the end of the season, I'm going to be VERY disappointed.
