LAST NIGHT I WATCHED MYSTICAL ADVENTURE AGAIN AND EVEN THO IT WAS A DIFFERENT DUB, 80% of my commentary was just “THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD!!!!” “thIS MOVIE IS PERFRCT!!” “LOOK AT THE AESTHETIC JFGSGSGGD”

Anyway Mystical Adventure was peak masterpiece db content. Magnum opus. Period. No exceptions. dont @ me

#cozy texts #personal #like even the LITTLE THINGS i had to gush over #LikE LIKE FOR INSTANCE WHEN TIEN COMFORTED CHIAOTZU AT NIGHT THE COMPOSITION WAS REALLY GOOD #IT USED EFFRCTIVE COLOR PALETTE AND LIGHTING #AND AND LATER IN THE MOVIE WHEN HE WAS GONNA KILL CHIAOTZU THERE WAS LITTLE TO NO DIALOGUE #THEY JUST LET THE ANIMATION DO THE TALKING AS TIEN BEGAN TO CHANGE HIS MIND #i know im tslking about them in particular but they’re a highlight #OH OH OH AND THE TAO AND BORA FIGHT WAS REALLY GOOD #this other dub cut the intense parts out tho but i still remembered how shockinh the original was #AND SPEAKING OF UPA AND BORA WERE SO DAMN CUTE #MY BOI YAMCHA WAS THERE FOR FIVE SECONDS BUT WAS A GANGSTER #THE CHINESE AESTHETIC—#god i forgot which dynasty they were drawing from specifically #i researched this years ago i recognized the clothing style #anyway it really was embellishing shit and i fuckin #I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!#dude the storyboarding was everything and the colors #i had nothing bad to say about it #the only downside was likely the dub itself for random cuts but since that wasnt enough to deter me that says a lot about that movie
