#the one in HoH felt like a message explaining why outing people was bad and this just goes and undoes all that

Ngl it could have been better if their first kiss happened in the underworld in this book. And like idk some ppl already commented on this but their first kiss happening after Nico learnt about Jason's death and Will coming and kissing him is kinda.... idk. We got all of these 'first kiss' moments with the hetero couples so it could have been nice if we got once for will and nico too. I also do not understand the whole 'outing' thing. First, it was already bad in HoH. but why does Nico have to out himself to the entire camp? It's giving 'you cannot be yourself and you cannot date if you do not openly come out' energy, but you literally can... do that. And Nico outing Will makes no sense. I can understand Nico slowly opening up to others like Piper but why say it to the whole camp? The only good thing that came out of this was Nico's coming out encouraging other kids at the camp, i guess but still... unnecessary.

Everything you've said here is something I agree with and have already brought up multiple times and I expect I will bring it up again in the future as well... I would also like to mention how upsetting it is that the "you have to come out to be fully yourself" thing is aimed at teens and young adults, as if that isn't the group often most at risk for harm in that situation as they have no way to support themself if need be... Also the outing Nico had in HoH was far worse because it was malicious, but being outed unintentionally by people who are well meaning can be just as painful (trust me I've been through both lol) and difficult to cope with. A lot of the queer narrative in the book also felt "preachy" for lack of a better term, so much of it was stated instead of shown and it was like expecting you to automatically agree with what was being said and what you were being told but the way things were worded was very much so from like a queer theory lingo origin? And while I can't think of anything that was said I necessarily disagree with it was a rough transition and I think it was unnecessary as I think they would probably have slightly different culture and customs and beliefs systems around queerness being from camp and having limited internet access... The only thing I can say I liked was Nico saying he never had a moment he realized he was gay but that he was always gay and that he did instead only have a moment where he realized it was something people may look down at him for and he would have to hide/fight for, that felt very accurate to previous character set ups we've seen with him (to me at least) but otherwise he had moments where he came across as more of a mouthpiece and even though like I said I didn't think anything that was put in the dialogue was disagreeable it's still odd and poor authorship imo... And I don't personally think Will kissing Nico at that point was wrong, a little weird or odd though? definitely... It would have been nice to have Will and Nico have a first kiss in text that was comparable to the heterosexual couples in previous books in the series but even if I can't have that I would have just very much not have liked Nico to be outed again and to have that be embraced as a good thing because it once again pushes the idea that the way to be a good ally is to nudge or shove your friend out of the closet when in all actuality your job as a good ally and a good friend (even more importantly) is to wait patiently for your friend to hatch on their own terms instead of trying to crack eggs too early

I think as well having them be together almost a year and then take their relationship in the direction they did was too much... If they wanted to go the route they did with their relationship they should have only been together a couple of months, and if they wanted to have them be together longer they needed to fortify their relationship more yet they tried to do both and of course the relationship fell flat (again though, I do like the idea that love is different for each couple and I like the acknowledgement that love is a constant choice- I just find the way they arrive at that conclusion sometimes to be a little unhealthy?)

9:13 AM – Feeds are back from the morning wake up call.

Most of the houseguests don't even get up or turn on the bedroom lights.

9:19 AM – cam 3

Mark and Jason in the storage room.

Mark asks why Jason was surprised to hear nothing has changed with them game-wise since Cody is now back.

Jason says he wasn't surprised, he just didn't know because of Cody being back and he hadn't talked to anyone.

Mark says he and Cody are just starting over now since he threw him under the bus before he left.

Ramses comes in so they leave.

9:29 AM – cam 4

Cody and Jason in the kitchen.

They are laughing and saying they should have been evicted way early in the game and they are going to make it far.

Cody says everyone is nervous in the house thinking they are getting backdoored this week and now they know that Cody, Alex and Jason are all playing in the HOH next week and their side can win again.

Cody says he thought Josh was an outsider but he needs to go because he is a puppet for the other side.

Cody asks if Kevin is still solid with Jason/Alex. Jason says he is.

Jason says the worst thing that could happen is if Christmas gets HOH. (they are really whispering so it is hard to catch every word and they are looking at the memory wall and talking about people, but not using names)

Jason asks about Mark. Cody says he thought he could trust him, but they are on good terms now but who knows what will happen. Cody says Mark probably isn't on either side loyally, he was just really with Dom.

Cody says Alex was right about Mark's loyalty to Dom so he was happy to see Dom be evicted.

Cody says it is still clear that everyone wants him out of the house. Jason says they are scared of Cody.

Cody says they should be scared of Jess.

They talk about the last HOH comp and that Jess did so well. Next they discuss the battle back.

Cody asks why everyone wanted Paul to compete against him. Jason says everyone just instantly said Paul should do it.

Cody: How many of these people are going to start playing their own games. Are you all going to be duds and let Paul run the show?

Cody says he doesn't trust anyone no matter how nice they are all being to him.

Cody says he takes everyone's disloyalty extremely personally, especially the ones that gave him punishments.

Jason agrees and says that gives you more focus and fuel to want to win.

(Ramses is on cam 1 awake in the main bedroom during this whole convo, I'm not sure if he can hear Jason/Cody)

Cody says he guarantees people on the outside want Cody/Jason/Alex/Jess to work together and go far because everyone else are “dud city”. He talks about how no one else is good at comps.

They discuss Mark and that he is a flip-flopper and a coward so he is hard to trust.

Cody brings up the three votes to keep him and that it probably scared Paul.

Jason says he was mad he didn't vote to save Cody because he didn't know three other people would. Jason says he didn't do it because he didn't want to be in trouble in the house for voting against the group. Jason says he thinks one of the votes was Christmas just to frame him.

Jason talks about how he wanted Dom and Matt up last week but Alex wanted to put Jess up to the keep the house calm. He tells Cody about things that happened with Dom last week.

Cody asks if Jason is against the house from this point on and wants do some damage.

Jason is hesitant and brings up Alex. Cody says Alex will want him to take the safe route because that is what Jess wants to do. Jason agrees.

Cody says he wants to do anything to stir things up, as long as he gets to jury with Jess he is good.

Cody says Jess respects Jason.

Next topic is Josh and that he is a pot-stirrer and just goes with whatever people tell him. They laugh about him and make fun of him for a while.

(side note; Cody makes coffee and uses 5 coffee filters in the coffee maker ??)

Jason brings the convo back to Christmas and that she is crazy, an emotional wreck, she spreads negativity. Cody is nodding in agreement to everything he says.

Cody says everyone wants to keep Christmas around because she isn't a threat.

Jason says Paul was trying really hard to win the battle back and he said that if someone comes back they will just vote whoever it is right out.

Jason leaves to use the bathroom. You can hear him talking still as soon as the door closes.

Jason to himself: What the f*ck am I gonna do, what the f*ck am I gonna do? Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t! (10:06 AM)

10:08 AM – cam 3

Cody and Jess in the HOH room.

Cody: Christmas voted for me to stay, it wasn't Jason.

Cody tells Jess about his convo with Jason.

Jessica: Why would he admit that to you?

Cody says he is an idiot and he talks too much.

Cody says Kevin also told him that he voted for Cody to stay but to not tell anyone.

Jess says she knew that, she has been saying Kevin is the one lying about the votes and he voted to evict Jillian too.

We have a few minutes of fish. Feeds are back at 10:18 AM and all cams are on sleeping houseguests. After a few minutes cams show Cody, Matt and Jason chatting in the kitchen.

10:50 AM

Houseguests are getting up one by one, everyone is just chatting in the kitchen about various things.

10:55 AM – cam 4

Paul, Alex and Jason in the main bedroom.

Paul says they have 7 votes already to keep Josh. He says only Elena/Mark won't vote with them and not to mention it to them because they will tell Cody/Jess.

They say they can't tell Ramses either. Paul says Ramses made a deal with Jess/Cody the week Paul was HOH.

Jason says Ramses knew he was going up yesterday, Jess/Cody warned him.

Paul says they are working together.

Jason says Cody told him they will take Ramses out next week.

Paul says Cody is just saying that.

They agree Ramses needs to go this week because they can't let him slide another week.

Paul says whenever they are bored of Josh they will get rid of him, but they can use him because he is after Mark, Cody and Jess.

12:08 PM – cam 3

Christmas and Kevin in the main bedroom. Alex and Paul are there too but they are sleeping.

Kevin asks about Cody/Jess. Christmas says they are working hard to integrate. Kevin agrees and says Cody said he has to work on his social skills.

Kevin says if Cody knows anything about the vote flip this week and wins the POV he will take Ramses down. Christmas doesn't think Cody knows so he won't use the veto if he wins.

Kevin says it looks like Matt/Mark are back with Cody. Christmas says Matt isn't happy with Cody so he is just being nice to him.

Houseguests are just chatting, eating breakfast, getting ready.

1:14 PM – Feeds switch to the Kitty/Bunny Cam.

Feeds back at 1:47 PM

They picked veto players; Jessica, Ramses, Josh, Christmas, Jason & Cody are playing.

1:48 PM – cam 4

Christmas and Ramses in the love bedroom.

Christmas is saying that she may not get to play and she doesn't know about using the veto because unnecessary waves could be created, and if Ramses stays up they are keeping Jess's plan in place.

She says they will talk if she is able to play and does win.

Christmas asks if he feels comfortable.

Ramses says no because he is on the block, but he knows Josh is a bigger target than him and he knows a lot of people don't want Josh in the jury.

Christmas says she thinks Ramses is good this week, she even implies that if Ramses wins the veto he wouldn't need to save himself.

Matt comes in and Ramses leaves.

Matt says he walked into the HOH bathroom and Jess was showering, she thought Matt was Cody coming in the room. Matt says Jess said she really wants to talk to Alex before the veto comp.

Christmas talks about how Elena is close to Ramses.

Matt thinks Mark has a deal with Jess/Cody. He says Elena/Mark are floating between the sides.

Raven comes in and shows Christmas her foot, she got her stitches out. They continue to talk about Mark/Elena. They say they need to get Ramses out because Elena has him reeled in with her.

They talk about how Cody/Jess think they have Jason/Alex. Matt says they can throw the HOH to Jason or Alex and they will nominate either Cody/Jess or Mark/Elena.

Christmas says they should put up either Cody/Mark together or Elena/Jess together. Matt/Raven like that idea.

2:10 PM – cam 1

Jessica and Ramses in the bathroom.

Jessica is assuring Ramses she wants him to stay, she says she will do everything in her power to win veto.

Ramses says he feels good about staying.

2:15 PM  cam 1

Jess and Alex in the lounge.

Jess says she has a feeling Alex wasn't happy with the nominations this week.

Alex says she isn't.

Jess wants to explain her nominations. Jess says Josh is such a wild card and he distracts Jess and throws off her game because of the things he does/says. She says she needs Josh out of the house so can have a clear mind and pursue the bigger targets.

Alex says she understands and she wants both of them out too.

Jess says she isn't going to flip back to the other side of the house, her and Cody are with Alex/Jason.

Jess wants to make sure if Jason wins the POV he won't use it. Alex says he won't.

2:28 PM – cam 4

Mark and Cody in the kitchen.

They are checking in together and say they are happy with their position in the game and they have a group of strong people working with them.

Mark says he felt so bad for what happened and he is glad he and Cody are in a good place now.

Cody says Jess filled him in on what he missed and he is very happy with Mark, Elena and Matt.

2:58 PM

Cams 1 & 2 - Raven, Jess and Christmas doing makeup in the bathroom.

Cams 3 & 4 - Kevin, Paul, Ramses and Alex in the main bedroom telling stories.

Jason, Josh and Alex in the HOH room.

Josh says they are voting out Dom, but he doesn't trust that the rest of the other side isn't in an alliance. He says they need to stick together and stick strong or they are going home soon.

Josh says the other side are coming for Jason and Alex.

Josh says he trusts Paul and Christmas too and they all need to start comparing notes and working together.

Alex and Jason say they will work week to week.

Jason tells Josh that no matter what happens this week Josh has to vote Dom. Josh says he will and for them to not worry about it.

Josh leaves.

Jason says he doesn't understand why Paul wants Mark up so bad, Jason wants to put Raven up.

Alex says they are just going to leave noms the same.

Jason: We can't, we can't afford to Alex.

Jason says he doesn't trust that the other side will vote out Dom.

Alex wants to know what he has heard. Jason says nothing, he just smells a rat.

Jason thinks everyone is just giving them their word so they will stay off the block, but they will end up keeping Dom.

They talk about Kevin, they know he has done the hinky votes and they need to watch him closely and take him out soon.

Jason says he will do what Alex wants with the veto, but he feels like they need the safety net of having someone from the other side up. Jason feels like the other side want Dom to stay.

Alex tells Jason to talk to everyone and reassure himself that they aren't lying to him.

Jason asks if Alex wants him to use the POV.

Alex: NO!

3:13 PM – cam 4

Jason, Elena and Matt in the love bedroom.

Jason is checking in with them about their vote if he doesn't use the POV.

Matt says he is respecting Alex's HOH and will vote out Dom.

Jason says everyone is saying they are voting Dom off and he finds that fishy.

Matt laughs and says that isn't how it went the last few weeks.

Elena seems to want the veto to be used, she says Mark or Raven are good pawns and she would even volunteer. She says she is worried about a temptation effecting the vote. Elena wants Dom to go because she is throwing her name out.

3:17 PM – cam 2

Paul and Alex in the HOH room.

Paul is happy, he says the house is in shambles but everyone trusts both Paul and Alex.

Alex asks if he is working with Kevin. Paul says he trusts Kevin.

Alex says Kevin is playing them because he is the one that is stirring the pot.

Paul says he truly trusts Kevin and he doesn't think so.

Alex says she knows Kevin was the hinky vote both weeks. Paul says he knows Kevin voted for Jillian but he doesn't think he voted for Cody.

Alex says Kevin relays info back and forth between the sides because he doesn't know they talk.

Paul says he is sticking to his guns that the Cody vote was Dominique.

Alex says that is fine, but Kevin is still on her radar.

Paul says there are bigger fish to fry than Kevin. Alex agrees.

Paul says he talked to Kevin and Ramses and they are both voting Dom out.

Alex says ok, but she still doesn't trust Ramses. Paul agrees and says next time he gets HOH he is going for Ramses.

Paul says he still thinks the best move is to put Mark up as renom. Paul says he highly doubts Mark will vote out Dom this week, so he just needs to go up.

Alex wants to make sure the votes are secure. Paul lists himself, Jason, Elena, Matt, Raven as for sures. They are pretty sure about Christmas' vote too.

3:42 PM – cam 2

Alex and Mark in the HOH room.

Alex asks him again if she can put him up as renom, she doesn't want him to have to vote against Dom. She says they have the numbers for sure that he is safe.

Mark: You gotta do what you need to do. (he doesn't look happy about this)

Alex says if it makes Mark paranoid she doesn't want to do it, but it is for him to keep his hands clean.

Mark says this isn't an emotional decision, he says he already talked to Dom about the vote and she knows she is going. He says he will never feel comfortable being up.

Mark says he appreciates her being concerned about putting him up and he trusts her, but he watches the show so he won't say he is comfortable being a pawn. He wants to know why they won't just leave Jess as a pawn.

Alex says everyone is concerned that Mark will keep Dom.

Mark says he isn't the one that changed votes before. (he is really annoyed that everyone wants him to be a pawn)

Alex says Jason doesn't want him up.

Mark says he doesn't understand why Alex is pushing for this.

She says it is to clean his hands of the decision, and she doesn't want him to have guilt for voting Dom out.

Mark says he is voting her out, he is a man of his word.

Alex explains that Jason is nervous about leaving Jess up because he is afraid people will flip and decide to keep Dom.

Alex says if Mark doesn't want to go forward with this plan then he needs to reassure Jason that he is voting out Dom.

Mark says he will talk to Jason, but when the votes come out to not look at him if anything fishy happens.

They talk on, Alex is still trying to nicely convince him. Mark is not having it at all, he will not agree to being a pawn.

Alex says if the noms stay the same everyone has to stick to the plan and Dom has to go.

Mark says she has his word that he will vote out Dom.

3:59 PM

Feeds switch to FISH.

4:32 PM

Feeds are back. They are picking the have nots for the week.

Alex has to pick 3 people. She wants to pick the people who fell off the HOH comp first. She picks Josh, Mark and Ramses. Jason is a have not this week because of the have not extension from last week.

The temptation is back in play this week Mark and Josh run to the DR to take the temptation. They go in the DR together.

They come out a few minutes later, there will be a random draw to pick which of them get a chance at the temptation.

4:52 PM – cam 1

Josh won the random draw so he gets the key to open a temptation box.

Most of the houseguests join him in the have not room.

Josh goes for the purple box, he gets the extra week on slop.

There have been a few convos breaking out throughout the house, but nothing new. Everyone is just affirming that Dom is going and talking about the things that have happened in the last few days. (I can't type the same things anymore)

6:25 PM

The yard is open, everyone is really excited and runs out.

6:56 PM – cam 1

Elena and Jess on the hammock.

Jessica is trying to explain Cody's reasoning for putting up Christmas and that he genuinely thought it was a good move and that he had people backing him, since he had Dom/Mark telling him they wanted her out.

Jess says she thinks Dom/Mark meant that they wanted Christmas out down the line, not that week, but Cody just went for it when he couldn't put Paul up.

Jess says that her and Mark knew Cody wanted to put Paul up, but they didn't think it would be week 1. Jess says that her and Mark had a convo that they both felt loyal to Paul and they had to convince Cody not to target Paul down the line, but they didn't think Cody would do it that same day.

7:23 PM – cam 4

Elena and Paul in the love room.

They are both saying they feel good about what has happened and they trust each other.

Elena says everything Paul says has checked out, and there are still a lot of things that are weird with Dom.

Paul says for Elena to keep tabs on Mark if he goes up as a pawn and in the following weeks. Paul says Mark is still batting for Dom as of this morning.

They talk a lot about the Dom stuff, but nothing we haven't already heard a hundred times.

7:41 PM – cam 4

Dominique alone in the lounge cam-talking.

She is saying that she was betrayed and things were pinned on her. Dom hopes that America tempts her in a way that helps her game.

Dom says her feelings will be hurt if she is voted out this week, because it is hard not to take things like this personally.

She says she messed up by trusting too much. Dom thinks it is interesting that Paul exploded and disrespected her. She says it really pushed her that Paul disrespected her god. She hopes the other houseguests observed Paul's behavior.

Dom: A hit dog will always bark, and he (Paul) was barking pretty loud last night.

Dom says Alex is trusting a group of people that will vote to evict her if they get power.

Dom says her plan for the veto meeting is to say what really happened and apologize to the houseguests who were offended by her. She says if it turns out she is wrong about Paul and Elena she will apologize ahead of time.

Dom says if she doesn’t get the temptation she hopes Mark does.

7:53 PM – cam 1

Elena and Mark on the hammock.

Mark says he feels really comfortable with Alex/Jason, especially if they don't put him up as a pawn.

They talk about Dom. Mark says he isn't going to talk to her again until after the veto meeting because they don't need to have any open convos until then.

Mark says Dom told him she never said anything bad about Elena.

Elena says Dom heavily implied things about her, so it's the same thing.

Elena asks who Mark would put up if he won HOH. He says Ramses and Jess.

Mark: I don't want to put Jess up.

Elena says she doesn't want to either.

Elena asks if Mark knew that Cody had a plan to go after Paul ever.

Mark: No, hell no.

Elena asks even if Cody just wanted Paul out once they got to jury.

Mark says Cody voiced concerns, but no.
