some older guy came in to work today and like u can kinda tell when theyre lonely and sad bcause they sit at the bar and talk and talk and ask you useless questions just so you keep talking and they almost always have such interesting things to say anyway some older guy came in today and did this exact thing but as soon as he was out of earshot my coworker turned to me like ‘fuck me he can talk for england’ really negatively and i just think it was really sad

#like would it kill u to be NICE #my fav customers are the really old ones or the children #the kids because theyre so easy because you go a little bit out the way for them #(once a mum asked for a glass of water with ‘as many fruits as you have’ in it so i was like BET #we have a bunch of frozen garnish fruits so i put lemon orange lime strawberry raspberry and blueberry in a fancy glass and a straw #and the kid looked at it. at me. and literally ‘I LOVE YOU’)#and the really old ones because they just want to TALK TO U dude they say so much cool shit #the guy who worked on sydnye opera house #the old lesbian who told me & my coworker abt gay clubs before there were any official ‘gay clubs’#i dont understand how people can be so derisive like. people are so beautiful and kind #the guy today had this whole random acts of kindness thing and he gave one woman his lighter for it #it made me really sad and then i had to work another 4 hours and stew in it anyay
