when i talk body design i am talking about Big Jack Horner. If they didnt lean so hard with his long jacket, his silhouette and approach to evil would have him on par with Ysma and Cruella (og animated)

His face is nasty sneering even when at rest. they made a big evil character and put plump rosy cheeks usually seen on a santa (i love that he has some of the clearest animated skin ive seen in a second. his complexion is almost porcelain). beady little eyes, lack of eyebrows, and terf hair really make him look insufferable. and dont get me started on that nose. Like a plank of evil that exactly compliments the whiny almost nasally voice m*laney was rocking. its such a cop out when they put a big nose on an evil character thats just wide, bulbous, or hooked. Love to see an evil nose thats all carrot (cone stickin straight out)

And hes top heavy! its so great to see a big body where it isnt all in the gut or tree trunk like legs! yes hes packing in the tummy but most of his bulk and looming presence is in his shoulders and his hammy hands. its tired when characters designers cant think to put weight anywhere besides the stomach. Like, if lilo and stich can do it yall can think outside the box too u dumb fucks. They did such a good job of taking all these seemingly noncongruent parts and making it WORK for the character! Great form.

4. A set that flopped but deserved better

i mean... i feel like the ones i'm super proud/the ones i've spent a really long time on are for such a dead fandom that i can't expect them to do any better than they have lmao. that being said, this mike logan one took quite a while and i'm really really happy with how it came out.

23. What is the thing you gif when you don’t have anything else you want to gif

let's be real, almost all i've been giffing since i started up again is law & order, but when i don't feel like doing that, i've been going to midnight mass. i also want to make gifs for mike flanagan's other two shows (hill house and bly manor), succession, the last of us, adn scrubs (i haven't forgotten about scrubs, okay, i swear)! i also have a few movies saved on my computer: this is 40, crazy rich asians, garden state, interview with the vampire, moulin rouge, van helsing, and with honors!

35. Do you change your giffing style a lot or do you have a set routine

pretty much a set routine at this point. i use actions for a lot of stuff which really expedites the process for making just a standard gifset of a scene. even for the bigger or more specific stuff, i still follow my normal process, but i've been saving tons of really cool sets and tutorials in my drafts for when i need help or inspiration. i just wish we had footage of the OG law & order that didn't look like ass 😭
