I'm going to be so fr with you, I understand the sentiment but william afton will never be the grief stricken father so many people want him to be.

But is the second part of this post fucking hilarious? Holy shit yes. (Look at his beautiful family, these are his babies, I know youre bleeding out but admire them now, Please and thank you.)

But he never was, never has been, and never will be morally gray father who just wants his kids back.

The idea of William Afton genuinely loving his children is so much more interesting to me than the alternative, not just because it's more tragic and makes his motivations make more sense, but also because it's fucking hilarious.
