hi, i think i followed you for mcr and i’ve just stuck around for assorted good posts! i like your horror movie content even though i haven’t watched a lot of them. i also like seeing harley quinn on my dash sometimes, even though i haven’t read any of her comics and getting into them seems like a lot of work fbdbsjsj

getting into harley quinn comics is actually really easy bc most of her content is standalone so u dont need to read like 700 issues of batman i dont read any comics other than hers bc the prospect of having to go through 100 years worth of comic books makes me blegh

u dont even need to read suicide squad to read her comics which i was glad to discover bc she is the only character i care about

anyways you dont have to start with it but the first comic to read for her is batman adventures: mad love bc it establishes her vague origin story and all that

then it's just chronological so

new 52 harley quinn (2013-2016 series)

harley quinn and power girl series (like 5 issue mini series that take place in the middle of new 52 between volume 3 and volume 4)

harley quinn and her gang of harleys (mini series)

harley quinn's little black book (mini series)

harley quinn rebirth (2016-2020, includes vol 1-6 from die laughing to angry bird AND vol 1-5 from harley vs apokolips to hollywood or die but humpries' run was fucking trash so idk if you can technically skip it timeline-wise but like brace urself if u read it it's trash)

old lady harley (mini series, read between angry bird and apokolips)

harley loves joker (mini series, can be skipped if u dont want to see her with the joker which i dont but it's kind of like a character study and doesnt portray their relationship as positive, also between angry bird and apokolips)

harleen (mini series)

harley quinn: year of the villain (single issue?, incorporated into the humpries run i think but that stuff isnt really necessary to read this and reading this also isnt necessary)
