ok. tomorrow working from 8:30-5 tabling outside (on the hottest day of the whole week lol) during first year move in. sunday gonna try to go this new student event 10-noon then finally getting new shoes (replacing the ones ive had since freshman yr of hs and have worn almost every day for a year 😍😍😍😍😍😍) and possibly some better work clothes and then maybe doing driving practice. monday last orientation session andim gonna be the most experienced facilitator there and have to do the hard part my colleague besties have been taking on all summer 🤪🤪🤪 tuesday staff team “retreat” / interns first day + convocation (aka me making up for my graduation ceremony by processing into the stadium w all the other faculty and staff wearing a cap and gown and tassel 🥹 (and probably being the only non masters / doctorate person LMAOOOO but whatever)). wednesday first day of teaching + i think our edits to the book chapter are due to the publisher 💀. thursday nothing except tabling for new students helping guide them to their classes i think. friday open house event. and then a 3 day weekend. and then the week after that i start going to my grad school class lollll
