Maybe they are not THAT scary on land, but underwater those three are horrifying

Ooh, that's a good possibility! They'll still be unnerving as hell but when they're encountered underwater (maybe they'll be EVEN BIGGER underwater because of less fighting gravity and bigger = easier to survive lol)

I'll definitely lean much more into their inhuman features when they're in their merforms - it's like the potions they take are not only so they can walk on land to attend NRC, but also to obscure features that may scare away potential clients. At least, until they have their prey trapped...

Floyd always smiles wider so he's often showing off sharper teeth and claws, as well as not hiding his gills quite as carefully as his friend and brother.
