wang lingjiao was unrepentantly a child murderer who encouraged sadistic vengeance and the violent conquest and massacre of hundreds of innocent people and then disrespected their dead bodies but I can't find it in me to hate her. she's too poorly written for that. the story is like look, an evil slut commoner who dares rise in rank and talks back to nobles as if she has that right! she's disloyal, cruel, clumsily manipulative, self-serving, and violently jealous! doesn't she wear too much makeup and simper too much at wen chao? and I'm like yeah she did kill a bunch of people....but she could be fun you never know. do you think she liked girls
