finished the sad war movie from 1959

will watch the full-length “don’t be a sucker” anti-nationalism PSA from 1947

and tomorrow we get to see the 2 hour finale of the anti-war show about the 1950s Korean war, which started airing at the tail-end of the Vietnam war in 1972

#i dont know what it is... but it's something #it's like something was being grasped in these things #and not that it was necessarily being grasped in politics and government #but you don't see much anti-war narrative today in mainstream cinema #of course eastern european cinema gets it #ive had so many problems with war movies and war narratives #the mythologisation of war as a form of modern day propaganda #anyway dont mind me im tired #i think anyone who's tempted to mythologise war should watch paragraph 175 #(but then anyone tempted does so anyway i know that from experience)
