Thinking about how in tmosth when everyone says their "Happy Birthday"s to Amy Tails gets the line "We love you, Amy"... Awwww... (Probably because from anyone else it would have been taken as shipbait. But still!)

And I also headcanon that Amy picked out everybody's roles herself (Even if she wasn't allowed to read the lore cards. It just makes sense to me because she just wanted to solve the mystery so it makes sense for her to pick the reporter (so she wouldn't accidentally be chosen as the murderer (or get murdered, it's not mentioned but it feels like the idea is that the journalist and the detective (in the plot of the game) are supposed to arrive after the deed is done since they can't interact with other characters before that while everyone else is supposed to mingle), plus it would allow her to basically wear anything she wanted to for the party).

And she picked Tails to be the detective so he wouldn't have to worry about being the murderer/murdered either, that's so sweet! (Maybe it's just a nice thing either way to give the youngest person at the party the easiest card though idk)

Trying to explain: Ally’s Powers.

I finally decided what Ally’s power is, and here I’’ll try to explain it the best I can.

The power is a mix of Psychokinesis and Electrokinesis.

1. The Eye.

Their eye changes very obviously and quickly whenever their power is activated either from pure rage or immense fear, HOWEVER- Over the years since they accidentally murdered Corey Cherk, they’ve been trying to learn to control it as it was a huge factor to how he died other than the switchblade Ally used. Instead, they rarely use it unless it’s something like recharging something or lifting a super heavy object.

2. What exactly is the power?

It’s based off the power that The Incredibles villain, Syndrome has in visuals but not in how it works, it works more like Silver the Hegdehog’s ability seen in Sonic 06, but with the ‘chain’(?) that comes from their eye OR their hand. It also has the optional attack to send electric shocks depending on what it is they’re carrying or attacking. Sometimes it can accidentally shock themselves if done too much or for too long.

The way it looks also has a glitchy effect similar to Infinite the Jackals ‘glitchy’ effects seen here but blue.

3. How powerful is this ability?

It isn’t that powerful unless Ally has enough fear or rage inside of them, if it’s used without those emotions, it can only give small sparks and lift small objects. So basically, the more anger and fear they have, the powerful it is.

4. Why do they have this power?

It’s a genetic mutation since they are a Cryptic/Human hybrid, however not all hybrids get their powers right away, Ally being one of those cases. They first discovered it when they were 16, causing their hair to turn into that Space Blue you’re all familiar with. (They were originally a normal brunette.)

5. Do they ever use this power to fight people?

Only twice did they ever do that in canon.  They don’t want to, as they prefer using normal melee weapons to avoid judgement of being a hybrid. 

6. Will this power ever be used in a thread?

Depends if anyone is interested in this idea being used in a roleplay or not. Some people might consider this “Overpowered”, which is why I never used it or explained it before.

Tails's characterization and representation in tmosth was so good though

He was having his main character moment

He got to show his smarts though he was still swayed by peer pressure =_=

He was really sweet, optimistic and sunny and supportive and actually confident(he was having fun playing the game!), but still had his moments of acting immature and occasionally got insecure when caught off guard.

And even though he and Sonic barely interacted, when we got more of Sonic at the end of the game you can really feel the similarities between them!

I'm just honestly very impressed by how well his various contradictory character traits were balanced. Just. So good.
