grim reaper stone x guard!dog reader..........
It's very rare that people decide they want to disrespect him, but it happens. And before Grim Reaper!Stone could tell them off himself, Guard Dog!Reader interjected, telling them off for him.
Grim Reaper!Stone would be so confused because usually everyone is wary of him. Before you, no one defended him. They all thought he didn't need protection and he kind of didn't, but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate it.
Honestly, with the way he grew up, being protected by someone isn't something he knows. He always thought no one would protect him, no one wanted to protect him. He just thought protection and love was out of his reach, something he was only meant to see others get.
But you defend him constantly, throwing verbal assaults on those who decide to try and pick on him for being a mindless soldier, sometimes even fighting them. You're in his corner, willing to have his back, and that means a lot considering he's very paranoid.
Knowing that you want to protect him makes him want to melt.

This is Stone-coded. So, so Stone-coded. Specifically, Criminal!Stone. That man is only alive because Mafia Boss!Reader calls him a good boy.
It would be me-coded, if anyone called me a good boy. But alas, they don't.
Anyways, so it's Stone-coded.

Imagine how confused Steve Rogers would be by youth slang in this day and age. Like, I’m hung up on the idea of Kate saying “No cap,” in the middle of one of Clint’s stories, and Steve getting confused and all like, “no cap? But I’m right here?”

Naga!Stone x Historian!Sylvester.... I love it. I love this masterpiece you've written.
I'm obsessed.
naga!stone my beloved, that is all i'll say
@the-whispers-of-death >:3
wc: 1.3k
Sylvester crept over to the cave, the book bag heavy on his shoulder, but he didn't mind.
With one last glance over his shoulder, he confirmed to still be alone, and descended deeper into the cavern. He didn't need to "look", not like he could anyways, but it made hearing or smelling things easier. Or... it felt like it helped.
He had long since familiarized himself with the layout, and even with the blindfold still equipped, he traversed the rocky, overgrown area with ease. Only his cane seemed to catch on something every once in a while, but it was no cause for concern.
The palm of his hand grazes over a rock in the wall near the back of the winding tunnels, having found it after meticulously counting his steps as to not lose himself within the area. Upon pushing it, the hidden door slid open. Stepping trough, he listened as it shut behind him, before he kept walking, one hand now tracing the lovingly, painstakingly carved bookshelves.
Avoiding a few traps here and there, he simply crept onward. The floors had changed from the raw rock of the cave to tiled stone. No doubt it took years to perfect. If he could see, he'd be looking at the mosaic patterns beneath him, ones that were his downfall when he came here the first time, leading him to miss the pretty obvious trap set out.
But that was years ago now. And he found himself forgiving his host the second he beared witness to what he was: a naga. A creature so old, so rare and so beautiful, that Sylvester felt the need to bow down to him at first sight. He still did, on occasion.
So despite not even knowing the name of this stunning librarian hoarding the gift of knowledge, he found himself utterly devoted. He found himself bringing gifts and offerings in the shape of the modern era books, in exchange for the man letting him stay and study the texts. Sylvester often spent days at the table, meticulously writing down every last word, wishing to copy everything for his organization's own archive. It was grueling work but he loved it.
The subtle sound of scales brushing against the tiled flooring snapped him back to the present. Pausing mid-step, he awaited his greeting.
Just a moment later he felt the snake part of the man slither around his legs, easily trapping him in place. Though, Sylvester did not resist. If anything, he smiled, feeling the coils move upward and tighten around him, all the way up to his chest. Only his arms remained free.
"You're late," the voice rumbled, a clawed hand brushing against his cheek, slowly, carefully, sliding off the intricate blindfold from the historian's sensitive eyes, before bringing him in for a tight hug.
Even in total darkness, both could see the other clearly. A small perk of the animals they both resemble.
"I apologize, my liege," Sylvester uttered, his pupils dilated from the dark atmosphere, as he looked up at the naga. There was nothing but adoration and reverence in his gaze. Maybe the clear love for the naga also contributed to the pupil dilation.
Rolling his eyes, the half-snake half-man creature grumbled: "I don't need your apologies, I need your safety."
Right. So this was where it was going.
"Are you hurt?" the man asked, despite already knowing the answer. His magic had stitched back together Sylvester's wounds the second he passed trough the invisible perimeter of the library.
"No, no, I am not."
"... Were you hurt?"
It was now the historian's turn to roll his eyes: "Just a few nicks here and there. But you knew that."
"Just making sure," the man grunted, before his gaze fell to the book bag still on the other's shoulder.
"For me?"
"For you."
With a small glint in his eyes, the naga pulled the bag away from its holder, and pulled out two books.
"They're both architectural texts," Sylvester spoke, a hint of pride in his voice, "Got them mailed to me from my homeland."
The snake remained silent, skimming over the drawings and words, before shutting it. All it held was information about the architectural styles of the buildings in the plaza and how they changed over a millennia. Interesting, yes, but nothing the man couldn't find in his own records.
He then flipped open the other, smaller booklet and let out a pleased hum over the contents: it was a complete history from the day his kingdom rose, to the way it still proudly stands today. The latest additions were which interested him most, and he quietly noted the authors. Perhaps the next time Sylvester goes out, he'll request more from them specifically.
Snapping the book shut, he finally unraveled the smaller man from the trap of coils, who then dutifully followed after the larger, much more ancient being, almost with a skip in his step.
"It'll do," he nodded, making his way over to the new part of the cave system: the expansions Sylvester is to blame for. At least his habit of bringing back books every time he returned gave the librarian something to do with his time.
"And... By the way, you are aware that you've only been in the top layer, yes?" the snake asked, looking rather amused by the shock in the historian's eyes.
"... Pardon?" Sylvester inquired.
"This is only the first floor of the library," he elaborated, "There's another layer beneath our feet."
The historian freezes in his tracks.
Noticing the sudden stop, the creature tilts his head: "Something wrong?"
"... No," Sylvester gulped, but the word came across as unsure.
"No? Is it one floor too few, little star?"
"No, no, it's just... I've already been here for... What, five years? It'll be at least another five when I'm done with those books! If I'm done!"
"I fail to see the problem," The naga stated, searching for a spot the two new books would fit best within, analyzing each and every shelf with a critical eye.
"Do you think you can handle me for another ten years?"
"I think I'd go insane if I didn't see you for ten hours. Yes. Yes I could handle you. I want to handle you," he said with such finality, and slid the texts in a shelf he deemed fitting. He'll categorize them later, now he just wanted to pay attention to the scholar.
"I... I see," Sylvester stuttered out, "How come you didn't tell me that beforehand, my liege?"
"That's for me to know, little star," he brushed off the question. Truthfully, he had noticed how the small mortal was nearing to the end of his stay. A mere handful of books are left on the first floor for him to rewrite and mail back to his home. A week's work at best.
Perhaps it hit the naga that if he didn't show the rest of his collection, he won't see this mortal ever again. Or maybe he felt bad about withholding such ancient, precious texts instead. Perchance it was both. Or a different reason entirely. Maybe it didn't matter why he let him know.
"So... Stay? Just a little longer?" he asked, hiding the hopeful tone under heavy wraps.
Not knowing what to say in return, the mortal just nodded, letting his hand be taken by the naga, as he was led deeper into the system. He observed and noted the systems and locks put in place to protect the rest of the immortal's sanctuary. And then, when he finally saw the true expanse and scale of the area, he could only utter one word under his breath.
"Beautiful..."
It went unknown if it was meant in reference to how the candlelight illuminated his guide, painting him in a soft yellow, just dim enough for his eyes to handle, or if he was in awe of the hundreds upon thousands of books before his eyes.
"I know."
There was silent satisfaction within the snake man now. He knew in his heart this will be a decision he does not regret, as he quietly observed the other man explore the shelves with such carefulness. The naga was just glad someone understood the fragility and importance of the texts. The importance they held to him.

🍏✨️What if during the apple incident, Nightmare actually managed to kill Dream?🍎🌙
Nightmare never healed from it but continued with his rampage throughout the multiverse causing pain and suffering left and right-
Until one day Dream showed up to face him on the battlefield, just like that. Nightmare knows something went wrong, this isn't his Dream, he saw him die. He was the one who killed him, he touched his dust, he felt the positive aura disappear-
But there he was. Spitting out something about their past together. But it couldn't be him. Nightmare was sure of it, it made it easier to actually kill him again, knowing it's not actually Dream. So he did.
And Dream appeared again
And again
And again
With no recollection he ever died, no knowledge he's a replacement and it just made Nightmare even more mad
Just a little idea that popped into my head, basically a multiverse can't exist with only one of the guardians so "the system" just creates a new Dream, a new version of him to fill in the void. So they are both kind of immortal but don't know it and never will, so they always fear death. If they ever really die, it will be the both of them.

i need to interview actor!stone and have massive amounts of sexual tension
Mm, imagine that you're the only interviewer Actor!Stone does an interview with alone. Everyone else has to deal with other co-stars of Actor!Stone with him, but you get him all to yourself. (Just pretend the cameras aren't there.)
Stone loves how comfortable you make him, how at ease he is when he's with you, sitting in a chair directly across from you. It's like he can forget about the cameras, that you're just two normal people having a normal conversation.
And the sexual tension is off the charts, even if it seems like he's his regular cold and stoic self.
His eyes keep dropping down to your lips. He swears he tries to get himself to stop looking there, but every time he hears your soothing voice, that's where his eyes go looking. He has to stop himself from licking his own lips at the sight of yours.
He's so talkative with you, sounding almost eager (a first for you and the fans) as he talks about his upcoming movie which he's doing press for. He gives a small huff of amusement when you playfully ask for a minor spoiler and then he boldly makes a gentle tease back about how you're trying to get him, the golden boy, in trouble.
And the fans go wild, because this is the first time he's ever given himself the title of golden boy. Everyone knows he's the media's golden boy, but he's always been humble about it.
But here, now in this interview, it seems like he's preening at your attention and trying to subtly impress you!
And after the interview airs, everyone's gossiping about how relaxed Stone was with you and how much of a great interviewers you are.
The producers and Stone's agent definitely want to keep getting interviews with you doing the interview because your two's chemistry is unmatched.

RealAgeAU - Godly Lessons
And the one that was third place in the poll!
I had this one ready for a while now so we are uploading it today!!
Timeline wise this is 6 months after Nightmare turned into a baby (so about 3 months after the gang arrived in Farmtale) We good there?
First Drabble (Thanks to @spotaus for the original prompt) Prev Drabble Next Drabble
*---------------*
It took them ages.
And when Dream says ages he means AGES to find Reaper.
It doesn't help that Reaper hardly interacts with anyone. He is so work focused it is crazy.
But, as Blue had said, Reaper was the only one they could ask!
Well... Dream had asked Ink and Error before but Ink had just tilted his skull confused at the question while Error just looked unamused and asked him why the hell he would ask him.
Dream makes a mental note to eventually explain to those two that they may be ascending to godhood soon, if they aren't already there. Look. Dream knows he should tell them this and help them but at the moment Dream is having issues with his own powers.
And honestly wiht those two still having their fifth truce (Look, Ink keeps forgetting they had a truce and so they just keep resigning the same truce agreement.) he still has time before he needs to explain the basics of godhood to them.
Not to forget that Dream is rather unsure nowadays about his own god status. He thought gods didn't change?! They had domains and stuff!
Okay so maybe Dream didn't know a lot about god things and only knew the things that... he had been told ages ago. Either in small snippets by his mother but those had always sounded like an afterthought.
Honestly the things he knows about being a god is all things he had... heard from those... those... horrible villagers... and later people from across the multiverse.
Either way, it means Dream is looking for more information and Blue is helping. Honestly Dream is unsure what he did to deserve Blue as best friend and Dream makes a mental note to somehow thank him for it later. There has to be something Dream can do to make Blue happy and show how thankful he is.
But that is for later.
Now, they are looking for Reaper.
And... well... with him being Death...
Dream has to physically stop Blue from jumping to someones defence as the human in this universe goes about the genocide run. Dream starts to regret his decision to let Blue come along.
"Huh. You aren't suposed to be here."
Dream looks up and smiles "Reaper! It is so good to finally see you!"
Reaper just looks confused before giving a grin "Really now? Why is that?"He winks before his face grows harder as he glances around "Also you two really can not be here."
Blue huffs "We wouldn't be here if you were easier to find. Come on Dream let me go I need to help them!"
Dream shakes his skull "No Blue you can't!"
Reaper sighs as he rubs his face "Okay. You need to talk?" he checks his phone and nods "Let me finish my job here quickly and we will talk on the surface of this universe. Just teleport to the other side of the barrier and I will be there in a bit." and he shoots off after the human, already becoming invisible again.
Dream has to drag Blue through a portal.
They sit in the grass as Blue glares at the ground.
"I am sorry Blue-"
Blue shrugs as he looks away "We could have helped them..."
Dream sighs and nods "I know... but we aren't suposed to interfere in other universes or stories..."
Blue huffs as he mutters "You don't have that problem when your brother does something or Ink wants to interact with people when he isn't suposed to." he doesn't look at him.
Dream frowns as he rubs his arm. Yeah... that is fair... Dream is a hypocrit, he knows that already.
They sit in silence before a chuckle "Wow. What is going on here? Did someone die?" and Reaper grins cheeky.
Blue groans but Dream stands up "I need your help"
Reaper blinks before letting out a long sigh "Dream. We have been over this. I am not picking sides."
Dream shakes his skull "This isn't about that!" he rubs his arm before forcing it out "I am losing my powers."
Reaper immediantly stares at him "What?!" Reaper looks him up and down much more critically.
Dream nods as he looks to the side "It is going slowly. But it is happening... it has been happening slowly but surely over almost half a year now."
Reaper shoots upright "And you only decided to search for answers now!"
Dream feels embarresed "We have been looking for almost 4 months now! But I also have other stuff to do as guardian of positivity!" he crosses his arms.
Blue leans over "Also you are hard to find."
Reaper raises a brow "Just ask Ink. You guys are like roommates half the time."
Blue and Dream share a look.
Reaper looks pained "Oh no what is going on with them now?"
Dream thinks about how to say it before just throwing it out there "They don't know they are gods."
Reaper stops, stares and groans loudly as he covers his face "I thought! I thought they knew what they were doing?! They call themselves god of creation and god of destruction for crying out loud!"
Dream rubs his cheek and shrugs. Blue nods "Yeah. that is what tripped us up too. We asked them if they had heard of gods losing their powers. and Ink just looked confused while Error asked why we asked him. And told us to ask a god instead of them."
Reaper looks so tired before rubbing his forehead "Okay. okay. Good thing those two are on a break of their weird war again. Does explain why they would keep fighting instead of just working together to make sure both get their job done." Reaper frowns as he rubs his face "I will have to ask the others about this... this may become an issue. Someone has to teach them and explain it to them but Ink has the memory of a squirrel and Error doesn't listen unless he respects you..." Reaper looks thoughtful as he mutters "Maybe it is best to go to him... Error and Nightmare already work together and Error respects him..." he frowns and huffs "Will have to find him first..."
Dream flinches at the name of his twin as Blue steps over "Anyway... Dream said with them having their truce that can wait. We went looking for you in the hopes you got answers for Dream."
Reaper pauses and clearly thinks it over "I personally don't... but if anyone has answers..." he looks considering to the side "I can go ask a friend of mine first. See if she has answers. if she doesn't we will need to go to Asgore, king of the gods and god of the sky... he will probably know but..." reaper pulls a face "he doesn't like multiverse stuff generally..." Reaper looks over "You two okay with waiting here for a moment?"
Both dream and Blue nod and take a seat to wait again. Reaper disappears and silence returns.
In the end, Reaper's friend did not have answers and they were forced to go to the land of the gods, or universe of the gods. Which, caused a tiny issue with Blue being there. Blue had just looked at him and asked if Dream wanted him to come. To which Dream had said obviously and so now Blue was Dream's chosen warrior to hopefully let this go smoothly.
They manage to get into the universe and it is glorious beyond anything that Dream could imagine. it is bright and colourful and so many powerful beings make their ways around. They all look curiously at them as they go by.
Reaper whispers "Do make sure to just address me with Sans here. Either that of Death. They don't like the idea that I as god don't go by my name or title when I am making my way around." Blue nods as Dream gives his own agreement.
They manage to get to the hall of gods and find the Asgore of this universe. the kind of all gods and the very sky. Which, with Dream knowing the story and how the monsters longed for the sky and all it held, understands is a very big deal.
They arrive to the end of the hall and Reaper nods to Asgore "Asgore."
Asgore looks over and frowns "Death, I thought I told you what i thought about this interacting with mortals." he looks very displeased.
Reaper answers smoothly "I know, Dream however isn't a mortal. He is a god, just not from our universe. The mortal with him is his chosen warrior Blue."
Asgore huffs but the irritations melt away easily "I see..." he smiles at Dream "Dream you say? You must still be very new to godhood. I can only assume Death brought you to me for a specific reason."
Dream gives a slow nod and after an encouraging smile of Blue he starts talking "I supose I am still a bit new to this all. I may be over 500 years but many of those years were spend locked away. The problem is... I am losing my magic and powers. I do not understand why."
Asgore frowns as he nods "I see. Were you cursed by any chance?"
Dream thinks it over "I don't think so. I at least don't remember a single moment which stands out where i could have been cursed."
Asgore nods and waves at him to continue.
Dream does just that "I have been losing my powers slowly over the last few months. It started with being unable to passively make others happy. At this point I can hardly feel emotions as it is."
Asgore suddenly chuckles as he leans back "Well, of course you can't do that. You are no god of emotions."
Dead silence. Blue and Reaper share a shocked look as Dream sputters "but I am?! I am the god of positive emotions!"
Asgore tilts his head "No you are not. I can sense that you have no domain."
Dream sputters and glares "But I do have a domein!"
Asgore chuckles as he waves off his anger "Had. You HAD a domain."
Dream feels hismelf freeze "what...?"
Asgore nods "You are losing your powers because you lost your domain. You aren't losing your godhood however, that is something of that is yours by right of birth and a great power is needed to take that from you. But your powers are leaving you as those were connected to the domain you were connected to."
Dream stares down at the ground.
Asgore continues on, either unaware of the actual crisis Dream is experiencing or he just doesn't care "Now that the balance is able to establish itself again it has no need for either you or your counterpart."
Dream blinks and looks up "Balance?"
Asgore looks smug "Yes of course I know what your domain used to be. A god of Balance. together with your counterpart your duty is to establish and keep balance over your area. In this case, the focus was on emotions and the area was quite large with this so called multiverse."
Dream is seconds away from hyperventilating.
"Remember Dream. You are to keep balance." Nim sounds so proud.
Oh gods.
Nightmare looking at him annoyed "Dream what are you doing?! You are going to tip over the balance if you keep interrupting my work!"
Oh no.
"-It doesn't mean i don't like them. Just, even too much of a good thing is bad. you know?" Blue smiles at him.
Oh he is so dumb.
Reaper luckily sees that he needs some assistance and continues the question "Meaning that Dream needs a new domain? And that will give him powers again?"
Asgore nods "Indeed."
Blue looks between them confused "But what restored this balance then?"
Asgore looks annoyed at Blue for a moment but when Dream looks at him expecting he humors them "I do not know. I supose something unbalanced it. But that with time and the suport you and your counterpart gave it it managed to recover and heal."
So there may be a new tree of emotions somewhere in the multiverse-
WAIT!
Dream steps forwards, feeling much more panicked "You mean. That whatever unbalanced it must have been reversed?!"
Asgore raises a brow "I just said that yes."
Dream feels the panic return. Because the only thing he can image unbalancing it. Would have been the tree being cut down. The tree and the apples of his mother's tree had been the thing keeping balance.
Nightmare ate the apples...
Where is his twin?
Dream takes a few steps backwards "I... I need to go. Thank you. I need to go now." His brother. Where is his twin? Is he hurt? What if... what if these powers disappearing are also disappearing for him?
Those apples had healed him... kept him alive...
Dream knows that much, Dream had seen the images in the book. The only reason Nightmare survived was because of those apples.
Can... can Nightmare survive without those apples in his system?!
Dream doens't know what Asgore said but he rushes back to the enterance, blue already by his side again and looking worried.
They get to the edge and Dream teleports them out again.
As soon as they are back Dream feels himself shake and Blue hugs him "What is wrong? What did you realise?"
Moments later Reaper appears "Why did you do that?! Now i need to deal with a ticked off Asgore and-"
Dream breaks "Nightmare may be dying!" sobs break through as he collapses in Blue's hold.
silence.
Dream hadn't seen his brother in months. Not once ever since Dream started losing his powers. He had only seen the gang members once in a while. They always left quickly as soon as Dream even started talking about Nightmare.
Dream had been losing his powers and magic for half a year now and not once did he question if it may be affecting Nightmare.
He sobs as he falls to his knees, Blue keeps holding him.
Reaper floats closer but still out of reach "What do you mean? He is also a god. those are hard to kill." he grins a tiny bit but there is a nervous edge to it.
Dream sobs as he looks up. "The only reason he is alive is because he ate the very thing that helped keep the balance..." he sobs again "if the balance is restored... and all the magic we have connected to it disappears..."
Reaper seems to realise what Dream realised before cursing "Fuck."
Dream sobs as he hugs himself.
He doesn't even know where Nightmare is. He should have started looking for him months and months ago. As soon as he found that storybook, earlier even! When he realised his powers were acting weird. Make amends.
But Dream had been a coward. He had been afraid that Nightmare would never forgive him for his foolish and blind behaviour. Dream had figured he could try and ease their relationship a bit first. Maybe a truce like Ink and Error, and work from there on trying to repair their broken relationship.
But turns out... He may have been too late already.
Half a year too late.
*---------------------*
First Drabble Prev Drabble Next Drabble
Why is it that each time i do a Dream chapter it is a gutpunch? I honestly really like dream. It is just, from his side this whole story is more of a horror story than a family comedy...
Oh well.

MOTARA, toa Mangai of stone (6/11)
A stubborn and proud hero, Motara busies herself on the edges of the city, much preferring simple, challenging tasks. Often absent from ceremonies and public gatherings, Motara is most comfortable on the warpath, braving the dusty outskirts to locate missing matoran or track down shadowy neerdowells.
Motara wears the great Garai, mask of gravity, and wields a Granite Hook which she uses as a walking stick on her long walks beneath Metru Nui's twin suns.

Yonuthia!Stone and Grim Reaper!Stone would make anyone scream if they saw said Stone variant standing over them in the middle of the night.
Why they thought that was an appropriate thing to do? Who knows.
Look, I don't know why, but Yonuthia!Stone just keeps giving me this image of him standing over his and Sylvester's bed, watching Sylvester sleep.. He doesn't know how creepy he's being, he thinks he's being the perfect boyfriend, protecting Sylvester while he sleeps.
Worst part is, I can Grim Reaper!Stone doing it too.
sylvester wakes up in cold sweat in the middle of the night and then, when seeing stone just standing there in the dark, he *screams*
the nightlight is instantly on and his heart is gonna go a million miles an hour,,, local old man gets scared to death by his own boyfriend,,,
but when he's calmed down (and blushing heavily from embarrassment), he grabs his arm and pulls him back into bed so they can at least cuddle
"y'know that y' need sleep too, yea? c'mon. in y' get. no talking back, yer goin' to bed, angel. we'll be fine... promise."

I would love to just... even one time... have some kind of profound explanation for the parallels that are coming up during this Throne of Glass reread. Like what do I even do with this?
I haven't seen anyone draw this parallel between Elide's extra sensory bad vibes of the Stone Marshes in TOG and Nesta's vision in the Prison in ACOSF... but it's CERTAINLY there. (Edit: I fully believe some SJM scholar out there has not only found this, but drawn far superior conclusions lol & I encourage them to enlighten me please!!)
What does one do when "even Death itself bows to the 26th string" and Fae trying to claw their way through stone comes up in BOTH?! Asking for a friend.

Structure of the undertale multiverse -reimagined
The whole multiverse consists of two "planes of existence" let's call it, one are all the AUs and the other are the places in between or places that can't be called AUs (omega timeline, doodle sphere ect)
For the sake of convenience (and the fact I don't have a better name) I'll just call the first one "AU space" or just "AUs" and the other "the multiverse"
What I imagine are multiversal locations that provide necessities for travelers that aren't from any AU or places where people from different AUs can meet. Pharmacies, a mall, park, libraries, cafes. The omega timeline has most things found in these multiversal locations but it's not as big as it would be needed and is specifically a place for refugees to have a place in the multiverse. Also not everyone is let in the OT
And that brings me to my next point. Some of these locations or shops swore to be indifferent to multiversal conflict, as long as no one is harmed. So if someone like Error randomly showed up to one of these and had some gold he could just buy some chocolate and leave. As long as he's not a threat (at the moment) he's treated as a regular customer.
In my silly "dadmare" type au he's actually a regular in a pharmacy like that to get meds for the gang and himself. He has scheduled meetings with the shop owners to pick up whatever it was he needed, pay and leave.
And if you're wondering how he even has money, answer me, how are vampires rich?
These shops aren't popular for obvious reasons but many travellers decide to shop there too because there's less people and high security, whereas in the multiversal mall things can get very chaotic.
Also I'm not sure about that part yet but I think there aren't many places like that, like there's just one mall, 2 pharmacies, some smaller shops and a couple independent cafes. There isn't really a need for more, everyone can just teleport there via OT-like doors (maybe not doors in particular but some type of fast travel that takes you there) so distance is never a problem.
Teleportation, another thing I developed while thinking about my multiverse concept. Only few people can teleport between AUs or places in the multiverse and these categorise into two types of teleportation, just a type of magic one possesses like Ink with his teleportation through liquids or the apple twins with their emotion driven powers to guide them to an AU.
The second one is the learned way. It requires learning to open an AU's "menu" which is like reading into its code. In the AU's code there are coordinates, each with a unique set that basically takes you to that AU. Using a magical artefact or a tool specifically tweaked for teleportation every person with access to coordinates can freely teleport. It's quite a hassle so not many want to learn it and acquire the tools and skills necessary, also it's not like you can just buy an artefact-
Now that we have teleportation covered, we can come back to multiversal locations. These have coordinates too but they are way more complicated and sometimes contain cyphers needed to be translated or symbols that aren't in AU coordinates, which can be convenient because it provides extra security. A good example is the doodle sphere, AU hub, the easiest place to travel to AU space, the closest thing Ink has to home. The only person that knows how to translate doodle sphere's cypher is Ink, he shared the translation with trusted friends and teammates but only he really knows how to do it.
I won't get into the topic of "hackers" or others that can cheat the code but Error is one of them, he basically breaks through the code like a wrecking ball
As a finishing touch, that actually should be somewhere higher in this because it's quite important and a fun concept (that actually my friend introduced me to but now I think our ideas might differ so it's ok right?)
AU library, another thing floating in the multiverse, just as protected as doodle sphere, it's a temple of sorts. A library filled with books for every AU that has ever existed, an infinite stretch of stairs and bookshelves that is very easy to get lost in if you don't know what you're doing. It's widely known as a place you just don't even try to go to, if not out of respect as it's treated as a temple, then out of fear of getting lost. The funny part is, it's not even protected by anyone in particular, at least not anymore, it's not like someone even goes there....... right?
Yea my Nightmare hid there before finding his beloved abandoned castle. But that's for another time because GOD THIS IS ALREADY SO LONG and I don't wanna bring any character headcanons, at least not major ones, I only use certain characters to present my concept better, like with the shops.

need criminal!stone to just pamper and coddle mafia!reader. just absolute courting behavior and wooing intended. something something mafia!reader having an utterly dogshit day at work and nothing is going his way. very irritated and snaps at everyone.
i feel like after the 3rd guy who gets yelled at by mafia!reader, the people/goons are just like "for fucks sake wheres stone when you need that lovesick dog? he can *probably* calm the guy down, yeah?"
idk lowkey had a shit day and this is how i cope lol. need to just lie next to him in bed in silence. that'll fix me
~ rusty
Criminal!Stone hears you're being snappy with the goons (honestly, he understand it) and he comes to whisk you away to your bedroom. Don't think about work, he's here.
He buries you both underneath the blankets and peppers your face with gentle kisses all over, purring softly to calm you down. Think about him, not on the stress of the day. He'll make it all better.
