Nina's Movie Challenge Day 5 February 23 2025

hi everyone! It's Noa. Nina and I watched 4 movies part of her movie challenge thing she's doing. The first movie (well actually episodes of a TV show) I wasn't present for. Sooooo I guess I'm stuck writing this blog for her. Lol 😂 that's ok though. Before we went to bed early this morning, Nina watched "DreamWorks Penguins Operation Special Delivery" which was a DVD filled with episodes of a Nickelodeon show The Penguins Of Madagascar. This morning we started with "Excessive Force." It was ok. We watched 2 Steven Seagal movies afterwards " Black Dawn" and" Out For A Kill." However, Nina said she'll have to watch them again sometime because Instagram kept distracting us. She's still counting them as watched though. Lastly, we watched the movie "211" which was a really good one. Well originally Nina was going to put on the movie "Mirror Mirror," but I didn't want to watch that. We're fairly good at communicating with each other, so I let Nina know I was still present. Well actually, both of us enjoyed watching "211." Phone was charging, so we let it charge because we were absolutely hooked on the movie. These 5 movies were the only movies Nina watched today, but she's eager to continue her long movie challenge. Oh and I hope she watches "Mirror Mirror" soon. 😂 It's not my type of movie, so I would've been bored out of my mind. Anyway, thanks for reading. Have an awesome day! 👋🏻

Nina's Movie Challenge Day 4 February 22nd 2025

today I started watching movies a bit late because we slept part of the afternoon, and finally got some recycling taken out to the recycle dumpster. First I watched a really cute movie called The Jungle Bunch The Movie. It was so cute, and I LOVED the colors! Afterwards, I watched Jackass 2.5. it was absolutely hilarious with a lot of stunts! I absolutely enjoyed it. When that was over, I watched Lego Jurassic World: Double Trouble. That was also funny, and lots of fun! The dinosaurs were honestly so cool! Lastly, I watched Jackass 3! Like jackass 2.5, it was absolutely hilarious and filled with crazy stunts! It's pretty late now, and midnight should be here quick. So these 4 movies were the only ones I managed to watch. I may continue watching movies, but they'll be part of my Day 5 blog. Thank you for reading!

Why we're considering leaving Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Messenger.

Throughout most of our time on Facebook, Instagram, threads, and messenger... we've felt safe and comfortable to interact with others and use their various features. However on approximately February 19th of 2025, all that changed. It was a typical day of laying around home, and talking to friends in an awesome community group chat. For the safety of our friends, we're just going to refer to the group as K. And yes we consider them friends, but we won't go into details about why. So any way. We were talking to friends in the K community group chat, and having fun. Well, Facebook (Meta) took down a lot of messages from the group chat because they decided the messages were against community standards. We were so confused along with our friends because we weren't talking about anything bad. It was just an innocent conversation about food and physical energy level. When we talked about what was going on in confusion, even more messages from K got taken down by Facebook because again they decided the messages were against their community standards. Again, we weren't talking about anything bad at all. Our messages chiming in about what was happening were also taken down. Messages like "same here" and "I'm confused too." Like what? That didn't make any sense because it was an innocent conversation! Every time we went to our Facebook profile (not the page), we kept getting notifications that some of our messages were taken down due to being against the guidelines. So when things calmed down in the K group chat, we were very afraid to keep chatting because we were worried that more of our messages would get taken down even though we don't talk about anything bad. After the incident, we sadly left the K community group chat as well as the other group chats we were in. Thankfully our profile has no more issues, but it really really left a bad taste and gave us a distaste for Facebook (Meta). No our physical safety was not compromised in any way thankfully, but emotionally it really caused a lot of confusion. We don't use messenger anymore due to the incident. However we are very afraid to use Facebook, Instagram, and Threads because we don't want our stuff to be taken down and considered against community standards even though we never talk about bad stuff via our profiles and page. We don't feel safe or comfortable on those platforms anymore due to what happened, and we've been very very careful posting ever since. However we are considering leaving those platforms because we want to feel safe and comfortable when posting online. We don't want to have to constantly worry about getting into trouble for innocent conversations and posts. Or also innocent interactions. We are giving it until April 1st so we can make sure any socials we that we use that are linked to Facebook and Instagram can get different log in credentials. And we're testing out a message app called Telegram. So we want to see if we'll be satisfied to continue using the app for messages. Personally, we'll miss these platforms if we decide to leave them. However our safety and being able to feel comfortable come first. If it means leaving Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and messenger... Then that's what we have to do unfortunately.

Nina's Movie Challenge Day 3 - February 21 2025

Hello everyone! Today I tried to continue along with my movie challenge where I watch every movie we have no longer how long it takes. I started off watching a spooky bit funny Looney tunes special, then I watched a 2012 movie called The Jungle Book: The Movie. I attempted to watch a national geographic movie/documentary about Da Vinci's Code. However we fell asleep to it. Could be because we didn't get much sleep last night, or maybe the topic was very intriguing. However I'm counting it as watched because we don't really pay attention, or we fall asleep. After waking up from a 5 hour nap, I put in a national geographic movie/documentary about carnivores. It's very interesting, and definitely a good watch. I probably will it again if we need something calming to watch. All in all, 3 of the movies I watched I enjoyed. I didn't make much progress today, but that's ok.

Nina's Movie Challenge Day 1 and Day 2

Hello! My name is Nina 🏴‍☠️, and I'm the newest alter in The Moonarayde System! Yesterday February 15th 2025, I began my movie challenge! I challenged myself to watch every single movie we have at home no matter how long it takes me! We have a lot of movies, but I'm most definitely up to the challenge and the long road ahead! Since we're hoping to do some movie posts here such as reviews, I will not be going into detail about any of the movies I watch. I will however list the names of the movies so you can look them up if you'd like.

NINA'S CHALLENGE DAY 1

On the first day of my challenge, February 15th 2025, I started very very late. So I only watched one thing that day! I watched Steve Harvey's "Still Trippin'" comedy show. It kept me laughing from start to finish. 😂

On the second day of my movie challenge, February 16th 2025, I was on a roll! I watched more movies than I expected! I noticed Ty was co-con with me while Tom And Jerry the movie was on. I did feel a bit switchy halfway through the day, but I used some of our grounding techniques. In no particular order, here are the movies I watched!

Those are the movies I watched on February 16th 2025! I had a lot of fun watching them! The two movies about America were very beautiful. Tom And Jerry The Movie was an ok film, but dang! I honestly found the animation kind of creepy. Garfield The Movie (2004) was cute and fun! The rest we're action, fast paced, and quite an adrenaline rush! Kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I will continue to share my progress in this long movie challenge I got myself into whenever I continue. Why We Don't Post Much Educational Content

Have you ever wondered why we don't post a lot of educational content on our socials? Well, the answer is that we don't want to share anything educational... then find out later that the information is inaccurate. So basically we don't want to unknowingly spread misinformation. When it comes to educational topics, we feel like we should just leave it up to professionals or people who are more educated in the topics we talk about to share more accurate information. Especially when it comes to mental health, or anything mental health for that matter. If we share anything helpful or educational, it's mostly based on our experiences. Such as our Safety Tips For On The Go video we released at the beginning of the year. We made that video based off our own experiences out on the go. When we started our online presence, we didn't start with an Educational goal in mind. When we came online, our main goal was to inspire others by sharing our experiences and various interests. That's still the goal. We want to show everyone that despite our visual impairment, our DID, and other challenges... We won't let that stop us. So again the answer to your question is simple. If we are making an educational video based off our experiences such as our Safety Tips video, that's ok. However if we feel that we don't have enough experiences or knowledge about a certain topic, we prefer someone who is a professional or someone who is more educated than we are to share the correct information. Again we don't want to share anything educational, but then find out that we've helped spread misinformation. That's basically why we don't do very much educational content on our socials.
