hi cev! 💕 I'd like to request a katakuri x g/n reader drabble where they go on a date and reader requests that he not use observation haki! I think that has a lot of silly/cute potential
a/n: hey mew!! yeeeeesss i'm delighted to make more kata food for you >:3=
dates without haki (katakuri)
Tumblr media
gn reader word count: 0.8k
You fix your appearance in the mirror one last time, catching your husband's reflection making subtle—intentionally muted—motions you recognize as Katakuri chewing his lip behind his scarf again. If he wasn't so worried about appearances, you'd suspect that chewing would show on his otherwise perfectly manicured fingernails.
"Kata-kun," he perks up at the term of endearment, leans down when you gesture to pick a piece of lint out of his hair.
He glares at the offending particle, a blemish on his spotless appearance, yet his gaze softens when you cup his much larger head in your hands to turn his gaze to you. You're perfect as you stand before him, not a hair out place or crumb on your cheek could change that. Not the lines under your eyes from hard nights' work and especially not when you survive hard-won tummy ache battles.
And, in his eyes, he's wholly unworthy to stand at your side as the flawed person he is, putting up that faultless mask for the people around him.
"We'll be fine." You press a kiss to Katakuri's forehead, something unspoken beneath your reassurance.
It wasn't easy for Katakuri to agree to something like this; of course, he'd do anything to be the exemplary partner you deserved, but turning off a reflex that'd borderline become part of his identity proved to be more difficult than he'd like to admit.
The two previous dates "without haki" had gone as smoothly as he could manage; using his future sight once his nerves got the better of him on the first [just a little peek wouldn't hurt, right?], and being forced to on the second when the lovely picnic you had planned with him was crashed by wannabe rookie pirates stepping into the Tottoland territory without knowing what they were getting to.
They were easy pickings for him, let alone the both of you together, but because of that Katakuri wanted to make sure that this time, you'd get the perfect date you asked for.
[See: You didn't actually ask for "The Perfect" date, but he made a fuss in his own mind about it anyway.]
So you set out with him today, taking a pleasant stroll through private gardens on the quieter side of Komugi Island before making a detour through the town to pick up pastries you'd ordered the night before - it's brief, so ogling of Whole Cake's creme of the crop can be kept to an absolute minimum. You've gotten used to the usual stares and some glares from the fan club, but the only thing that matters to you is the look on your husband's face when he turns to check on you.
Katakuri is perceptive enough to notice unwarranted looks even without his haki, you ease his worries with a squeeze of his arm and a passive wave.
He is, however, slightly spooked by a fat orange tabby on the way out of town without his future sight. Kata's grateful that there's no one but you here to giggle at the blunder, only slightly huffy at the laughter that rises from your person as you give the clever creature scratches and praise.
The two of you don't really relax until you're in the safe, private confines of the mochi construction your husband typically builds to eat his merienda in. This time, it takes the form of a grand but sealed gazebo.
Peace and quiet for the next hour or so secured, you let lose to rummage through the giant treat basket you picked up in town. With an offering of kisses and a giant spoonful of pudding to his mouth, Katakuri doesn't take long to unravel either, tucking his scarf neatly aside and allows himself to be drawn into your presence, your warmth.
You spend much more time than intended in that secluded little gazebo, the amble bubbling of the juice river outside a comfortable faraway thought as you spend your afternoon with Katakuri, joined only by that cheeky orange tabby content to laze around cutely in exchange for short belly rubs.
At some point you find yourself half asleep on your husband's chest, kissing his scars and unwilling to so much as expend the energy to check the time. The cat's asleep on his other pec, you press your forehead against it, careful not to wake the man beneath you. Because you know it means going back to work, back to the not-so-hum-drum life of living in Big Mom's empire and conquering islands to grow her territory.
That darling man you'd sacrifice life and limb for, the man you married despite hell and high water and his batshit family because you loved him more than life itself.
Still, being a Charlotte was exhausting, Katakuri knew this more than anyone, so you chose to be selfish just this once and went back to sleep, disturbing nothing in this dreamy little fantasy you'd built with him for the one afternoon a month he was free enough to spend with you, his partner.

What If:
Logan and Victor decide to forgive each other, escape together and live in a small cabin located in Argentine Patagonia (probably in the Río Negro province, towards the mountains of the west) 🏡❤️‍🩹🇦🇷
They both accepted that they are two sides of a same coin, and they'll always be there for each other, no matter the circumstances <3
(If you wanna cry at the end, keep reading)
Logan gets addicted to drink mate and can't live without his thermo (he choose Lumilagro when he just arrived bc he didn't have enough money for a Stanley thermo, but he doesn't give a f*ck). His favorite yerba mate is Rosamonte: the most bitter yerba mate for his taste 👌🏻
Vic shows off Logan the words he already knew in Spanish after so many missions. Now he learned to say to Logan: "enano boludo" (fool runt) just for piss him off.
Victor has become very punctual at merienda time, he always waits for Logan with sweet facturas (like biscuits, croissants) (sometimes Logan is sick of eating sweet, so he asks Vic to bring salty facturas too). Also, Victor LOVES membrillo's facturas (quince jam) (his beard always ends up dirty as if he had blood on it, never forgetting his animal instincts).
Of course, Logan got a job at a sawmill, he has too much experience with wood hehehe. And Victor worked for a time in a food distributor for a bakery, but he got fired bc he was caught stealing some cookies with membrillo. So, now he stays at home doing housework (surprisingly, he's very clean and hates finding cobwebs on the ceiling).
Logan secretly listen to Tango music, somehow he feels internally moved and sometimes cries too!! He also bought some Carlos Gardel vinyls to send for Laura's birthday <3
They both bought earplugs to use once a month bc they discovered that they have a lobizón neighbor 2 km away (the argentine werewolf 🐺).
At first they slept in different rooms, until Victor decided to have a sleepover after watching a chick flick movies marathon with Logan over a weekend (yes, they have Netflix). How did he convince him? He used his secret weapon: kitten eyes ✨ This is how slowly Victor's old room was transformed into a leisure room. Now they have a shelf full of classic literature books (and Spanish literature too bc Vic is so interested in it and he wants to still learning). Some CDs and vinyls of Logan bc he also likes argentinian national rock (He seems to like "Los Piojos", "Intoxicados", and "Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota" 😂).
This is for the argentine fans: LOGAN SUPPORTS BOCA JUNIORS CLUB 💙💛💙 He's not a very huge fan for football games, but he stays focused watching them. While Vic usually falls asleep at half time on the sofa with him.
Victor convinced Logan that he would control his bloodlust, so their household is never short of a good supply of meat. Unfortunately, this is a vile lie. When Logan is away, Victor takes advantage of those free hours to hunt and devour little animals like hares or deer. He knows his schedules and how much time he has to clean up his tracks. Who knows how long he can sustain the lie 🫣
In my mind their first kiss was PURRFECT. The coldest month is July (it's winter there), so, after a week of overcast skies, one night Logan went outside the cabin to smoke a joint. He observed the number of visible stars until he realized that Victor was stalking him with a cup of tea in his hand. They both sat on the front steps and IT JUST HAPPENED. Logan tried to deny what happened, FOR SEVERAL DAYS. But Vic managed to take away his embarrassment and make him enjoy it many times more bc he ✨obviously✨ kissed him first.
It hadn't been a year yet and Logan had invited the X-Men to his whereabouts to celebrate his birthday in October. Logically, Victor didn't like this idea at all, so he decided to flee to the forest. Logan had so many feelings fluttering in his chest, but he knew better than to waste such a beautiful and special day. He looked for Victor and found him cooling off in a river. He was so upset and a little jealous, but Logan convinced him because they would make barbecue. It was a VERY uncomfortable moment for Victor, he was not sorry for what he did, but Logan took care of making him feel part of his family <3
Tumblr media
Ofc, I wrote all this with my tears.
I don't consider myself a good writer and my English is very poor, but if anyone wants to make a fanfic or fanart of this TAG ME PLS 😭💖

As the no. 1 argentumblr user, any tips for someone visiting argentina for the first time?
Love your blog btw
i think i'm nowhere near the top of argentumblr users, but i'm incredibly flattered to be top dog in your heart 💙
and yes, of course, lemme give you some tips! (warning: most of them will probably be food based lmao)
ok, i wouldn't be a good argentine if my first instruction wasn't GO TRY SOME DULCE DE LECHE. seriously, it's the rite of passage, you need to try this sweet caramel-like treat. you can buy it in pots to eat with a spoon if you're feeling extra hedonistic, but if not you can find it in almost every single pastry and cake here, it's a classic.
kinda tied to that last one, you should definitely try an alfajor (especially an alfajor de dulce de leche!). it's kinda like a cookie sandwich type of deal, usually with DDL as the filling.
speaking of food, be aware that your eating habits will probably have a bit of a change of schedule (if you're not latino, that is). we argentines have dinner very late (by usamerican standards), anywhere between 8:30 to 10 or even later. that's why you'll find that most restaurants are open till late at night, usually past midnight on weekends!
'but if i don't have dinner at 6pm i'm gonna starve!' NO because at 5-6pm you'll be having the MERIENDA. that's like an 'afternoon tea' kind of meal, usually involving a coffee or some beverage of your choice and a little something to eat, like pastries, cake, or even grilled sandwiches if you're in the mood for something savory. cafés are booming during those hours, so def something you need to experience if it's not what you're used to in your culture!
enough about eating, and more about travelling. no idea where you're planning to go, but there's something beautiful to see everywhere you go in this country. from the incredible waterfalls of iguazú near the border with paraguay and brazil, to my favorite part of the country, the gorgeous landscapes of the south (snowy peaks during winter, the most breathtaking views during summer), to the bustling city of buenos aires, there's always something to see or do!
buenos aires is an amazing city, and definitely one that never sleeps--literally! if you're into nightlife, be aware that people here don't go to the clubs until about 1-2am (you pregame at someone's house, or at a bar, of course!), and don't leave before 6, 7, even 8am!
just have fun! maybe try to learn a little bit of spanish, if you don't know the language? don't worry if you're not perfect, or even good: just throw in some 'messi's in there and everyone will want to adopt you and make you feel at home!
hope i've tempted you to come and visit, son todos bienvenidos!

*(but can be public too if you want!)
hi love ! you're from argentina right? i thought i'd seen posts about it. anyway, maybe a weird question but i'm going to argentina in a month. do you have any tips, must-sees, good restaurants you'd like to share? i always trust people who live(d) there a lot more than, like, tripadvisor. if you don't want to share or if this is weird that's fine too !! either way thank you <33
hi love!! sure, absolutely. I'll answer it publicly in case people also want to know about what to do in buenos aires. okay, i'll try to keep it short. idk how many days you'll be visiting but:
Long Post under the cut lmfao
must-sees:
Caminito (this is located in the neighbourhood of La Boca)
Teatro Colón
Avenida Corrientes and surroundings (Corrientes Av. and 9 de Julio would be like our times square lol)
Palermo Soho (this is a neighbourhood that has a lot of clothing stores, cool restaurants and caffes and from thursday to saturday night there's always a good plan waiting for you)
Jardín Botánico (this is in the neighbourhood of palermo which you'll see is divided in different names, Palermo Soho, Palermo Chico, etc etc so it might be confusing at first lol)
Recoleta is another neighbourhood that's nice to walk around, especially the area that's close to the cemetery and Plaza Francia. If you walk through Libertador Av. or Figeroa Alcorta Av. you'll see pretty buildings and museums. Here you can also see 'The Flower' as we call it lol, which is an artistic sculpture that opens its petals by day and it closes them by night.
San Telmo is a must for tourists but as someone who was born and raised in the city i fucking hate this neighbourhood lmfao, it's filled with people. bUT it's cute, you have like a street market where people sell their crafts and you have cute caffes and restaurants.
Puerto Madero is also a nice place to walk around as well
If you have time you can travel by bus to Villa Ocampo, a beautiful house owned by Victoria Ocampo who was a writer.
Tigre is a neighbourhood outside of Capital Federal (as well as Villa Ocampo) and it has a cute outdoor market filled with caffes, restaurants and shops. You can travel there by bus but it's fastest if you take the train.
For Food:
Petanque is a french restaurant, CARNE is good for eating hamburgers and Sagardi is a spanish/basque place. All of them are in San Telmo.
In Palermo Soho you have a shit ton of restaurants/bars so you can truly pick the one that stands out the most but my faves are: 1) Overo Bar 2) Club Eros (you might not give 2 cents for this one bc it might not look so aesthetically pleasing on the outside but my god they have the best milanesas ever) 3) Local Support (it's like THE place for all the indie and sad boys/girls wannabes of the city, the vibes aren't my cup of tea but the pizza is DELICIOUS) 4) Rey de Copas 5) Soria Bar "
Pizzería Güerrin, best pizza ever.
Il Quotidiano is my favorite sort of "mainstream" italian restaurant, the food is incredible and the prices are quite good honestly.
Presidente Bar if you feel fancy
Dadá Bistro for another fancy night but this one is smaller and usually there's also a shit ton of tourists lol. It's one of my favorite places even tho my friends say that it's for older people u.u (what does that say about me lmfao)
For something even more fancy you can enjoy a delicious merienda or dinner in Palacio Duhau
El Mirasol is one of my favorite places to eat asado, it's quite expensive tbh but the food is delicious
i Fresh Market is one of my favorites bar/restaurant in Puerto Madero
Sifón Sodería for a good vermut
Buenos Aires is FILLED with birrerías and my favorite ones are: 1) Patagonia (this one is quite mainstream but the beer is good) 2) Hormiga Negra... and i can't remember more LMFAO, if i remember i'll definitely let you know
Cuervo Café and The Shelter have delicious coffee. Cuervo is in Palermo and The Shelter is in Retiro.
Birkin is another caffe and it's also quite good, you can also have lunch/dinner here
and that's what's at the top of my head for eating, i know there's more in my brain but i can't remember lol. again, if i remember more places i'll definitely let u know!!

Hi! Not to sound too european but wow, the whole concept of pb&j for lunch is just so baffling to me, like... to me lunch is a plate of stuff with meat or other protein, rice/potatoes/pasta, and veggies. Or maybe like.. a club sandwich of some sort..? But pb&j sounds to me as something closer to cake - a kind of rare treat, idk if i'm making sense? To be fair i only tried it once, it was very interesting. Like at least 2 food items compressed into one. Good though!
this is exactly how i feel about it and i'm from the us, born and raised here, but my family is very culturally european + south american. so the concept of eating something like pb&j as a meal has always been weird to me. and i don't consider it a "real" sandwich. like yes literally it's two pieces of bread and filling so it's sandwich. but it's not like a sandwich-sandwich. to me a sandwich needs savory things. meats, cheese, veggies, SOMETHING other than just spreads.
growing up it was always: lunch & dinner are savory meals and bigger meals. breakfast and "merienda" (afternoon snack) were sweet meals (sometimes savory but rarer). so a pb&j is much closer to me to having toast for breakfast or an afternoon snack than it is a proper lunch food. and like, i'll eat peanut butter on toast with some sliced fruit for breakfast. and then an egg + avocado toast for lunch. because savory = lunch / dinner.
but yea it's very much a cultural thing i think, hence why i wanted to do these polls!

Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria Features Newly-Renovated Rooms and Suites
Tumblr media
We used to stay frequently at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria and its sister hotel Holiday Inn Manila Galleria before the pandemic. Both hotels offer relaxing staycation venues, especially since they are connected to Robinsons Galleria and come with very reasonable rates. However, with all the new hotels that opened lately, our visits became lesser. That's why I was so happy when I found out that Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria fully renovated all their rooms and suites during the pandemic. This is the perfect time for me to go back to one of my favorite hotels in the city
Tumblr media
We scheduled a weekend staycation at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria to see the renovated rooms for ourselves. I had some of my first hotel staycation experiences here so this will always be a memorable location for me. Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria lies at the centre of the Ortigas Center, a bustling business and commercial district in the heart of Metro Manila. It's directly connected to Robinsons Galleria with ample parking spaces at the basement.
Tumblr media
Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria recently renovated all their 262 rooms, including 63 spacious suites that have been meticulously redesigned, harmonizing contemporary design elements with practical features to offer an unforgettable and comfortable stay. Everything now looks new and colorful.
Tumblr media
We stayed at the very spacious 58-square meter Junior Suite. This comes with a separate living room area and study table with its own flat screen television. The minibar and tea making facilities can also be found here.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The well-appointed and renovated guest rooms also come with luxurious beddings, soft furnishings, technology and the finest amenities to refresh you upon arrival. The king-sized bed was very soft and comfortable. It was so easy to get a relaxing weekend slumber especially with its heavenly pillows and blackout curtains.
Tumblr media
The bathroom is also quite luxurious with a separate bathtub and shower. I had a long bubble bath here to end my day. The main toilet is also accessible from both the master's bedroom and the living room area.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
One other benefit of staying at the Junior Suite is that guests booked here also get exclusive access to the Crowne Plaza Club Lounge located on the 19th floor. This comes with several perks and dining inclusions as well.
Tumblr media
The Club Lounge is a well-designed retreat offering personalized services and amenities, a perfect blend of business and leisure ensuring a truly bespoke experience. As a club guest member, you can make use of the quiet workspaces, complimentary snacks, beverages, and charming city views.
Tumblr media
The Club Lounge acts as an extension of your room. This is a place where you can get some chores or work done in a charming setting. They even have a boardroom which you can reserve and use for two hours if you wish.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The best thing about the Club Lounge is that guests can get complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea snacks, plus evening cocktails with panoramic views of the city.
Tumblr media
I got some sandwiches and mini cakes for my merienda with a cup of hot chocolate. You can ask for refreshments and beverages any time during its operating hours of 6:30am to 10:00pm.
Tumblr media
For those who want to get some exercise, the outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center are available at the 5th floor. Anytime Fitness is actually an exclusive gym that comes with monthly membership, but guests checked in at Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn Manila Galleria get to use it for free during their stay.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
What we really love about the Club Lounge is its Evening Cocktails. Some have this as their pre-dinner drinks, but we usually enjoy this as our dinner itself.
Tumblr media
The evening cocktails is like a small, light dinner buffet with its own selection of appetizers, salads, cheeses, and canapés. It's not as big as a regular buffet, but the items are quite god and filling.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Desserts are also available together with some cakes and pastries. But the best part is that you can order unlimited alcoholic beverages which includes red and white wine, sparkling wine, and selected cocktails like Tequila Sunrise and Long Island Iced Tea.
Tumblr media
Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria has a special promotion right now where guests staying at the regular rooms can unlock these Club Lounge perks for just an additional P2,000. This is available for stay periods until Aug 31, 2024.
Tumblr media
In the morning, guests can choose two locations for their breakfast. If you want a more private and exclusive dining experience, head to the Club Lounge where you can partake in their buffet breakfast selection.
Tumblr media
The Club Lounge breakfast comes with some of the usual breakfast favorites like smoked salmon, bacon, beef tapa, fruits, salads, and an assortment of cheeses. Beverages and juices are also included. The selection is smaller than your regular buffet but you can enjoy a more quite and peaceful venue.
Tumblr media
But if you really want a big and bountiful breakfast, then go down to the third level and head to Seven Corners, the hotel's all-day dining restaurant where you can enjoy an elevated dining experience inspired by the world's top cuisines.
Tumblr media
The breakfast buffet at Seven Corners starts from 6:30am until 10:30am. Here you can indulge in everything you want to start your morning. Begin with some cheese and hams for your appetizers, or grab some pastries like ensaymada, danish, croissants or donuts.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The Egg Station is always a delightful place. Choose how you want your eggs to be cooked and the chefs will prepare them a la minute.
Tumblr media
There are many other dishes you can find at the different international stations. These range from bacon, hams, Spanish sardines, adobo, longanisa, corned beef, sausages, dimsum, and many many more. You can also get fruit juices, milk, and even ice cream for dessert.
Tumblr media
Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria continues to be one of my favorite staycation hotels in the city. I really love staying at hotel club lounges and they offer of the best values you can find in Metro Manila. Now that their rooms have been fully renovated, I will definitely be staying here more often.

That’s a good example of the perils of domesticating translations! It seems obvious that if you try to adapt an ongoing series by changing a main character’s hometown so it’s more local, at some point you’re going to run into problems, like a whole book where they visit their hometown, which will need an in-depth rewrite so it stays coherent.
The France-French translations of Baby-Sitters Club were still set in the US, so the characters had names that were slightly domesticated so as not to frighten French children, but not so much that it wouldn’t make sense for these girls to be American—e.g. Mary Ann became Mary-Anne vs. Anne-Marie in Québec French, and Dawn and Stacey became Carla and Lucy, which still sounds American to a French kid, but not as unconscionably American as their original names. (Part of it is finding names that won’t be difficult to pronounce—but the Famous Five kids had easily-pronounced names like Julian and Dick, and they still ended up heavily Frenchified, into François and Michel. And the books were set in Brittany in the French translations, instead of England, even though French kids could have handled reading a story that was set five metres to the left.)
I remember feeling puzzled about Nancy Drew at one point, because she’s such a household name in anglo literature and I’d never ever heard of her, so I was like, we’ve translated every other popular anglo series, why have I never seen a Nancy Drew book in a French library? And then I discovered that Alice Roy from the “Alice” book series in French was, in fact, Nancy Drew. It blew my mind—Nancy Drew is Alice!! omg, I did know her this whole time. I read somewhere that the French translation re-named her because French kids would have no idea how to pronounce “Drew” and because they would be more likely to associate “Nancy” with the French city of the same name, so it wouldn’t feel anglo enough. So, amusingly, it was a mix of domesticating and foreignising.
One type of domestication that’s regrettably popular in children’s literature is “temporal” domestication—when you re-translate older books to modernise the language and remove references that would “confuse” today’s kids (not talking about changing aspects of the books that wouldn’t fly with today’s sensibilities, that’s another discussion.) In revised editions of the Famous Five books in the UK, “shall / shan’t” were changed to “will / won’t”, dated words like “horrid” became “horrible”, “trunks” -> “suitcases”, etc. It’s a form of domesticating translation—from 1950s English to modern English. Personally I’m not a fan of it, because in a lot of instances, “modernising” prose for children is synonymous with pruning it and dumbing it down.
In French children’s literature spatial domesticating is losing steam while this kind of temporal domesticating is on the rise—we now feel like French kids can handle reading about an English boy named Julian who lives in England, rather than making the story about François in Brittany, but apparently kids can’t handle reading about a boy who lives in the 1950s and speaks accordingly. In recent re-translations of the Famous Five books they changed the passé simple conjugations to the less complex present, and the “nous” to “on” in the kids’ dialogue among other things, to make the text less formal, more modern—and simpler. The Spanish revised editions have examples of both trends—George calls her father “Padre” in the original translation and “Papá” in the modern one (temporal domesticating—the UK reprints do the same thing, changing “Father” to “Dad”); the kids having tea was initially translated as “tomar el té”, while the new translation changed it to “merendar” (spatial domesticating—and sure, it’s a similar enough concept, but it erases cultural differences. If you’re reading about English kids you can accept that they refer to their snack time as la hora del té rather than la merienda...)
Idk, I think kids who enjoy reading can handle books about fictional children that don’t live and talk just as they do; identifying with people who are quite different from you is part of the fun of reading. I remember reading as a kid the Comtesse de Ségur children’s books which were written under Napoléon III, and the 19th century language was a delightful aspect of them—the fact that little kids my age used imperfect subjunctive in casual conversation was hilarious to me. I was saying in my previous post that domesticating your translation too much evinces a lack of respect for your reader’s ability to handle unfamiliar concepts, and I think we should try to have a little more respect for children in that regard.

Cute S/O has a bunch of plushies for stress relief
W/ Law and Katakuri
I forgot to put these two in the first one so here they are! Sorry! @animegirlfromvietnam
Tumblr media
-Does not care, no teasing, nothing like that
-It's coping mechanism, more importantly it's a healthy coping mechanism, so who's he to judge
-He will look through your collection just to see what types you have, when he's waiting for you he'll look at them, maybe poke one
-He found one that looks like Bepo when you came in he was leaning back on the bed with the "Bepo" on his chest and he was like "This one looks like Bepo",, he showed to him later too and now it's known as Bepo Jr. to the whole crew
-So Penguin buys you a penguin plushy and Shachi buys you an orca/killer whale plushy
-When Law sees you're having trouble he'll use "room" to get a plushy from your room and give it to you, and one of the crew will have one with them at all times per Law's orders just in case because he knows how important coping mechanism items can be, doesn't matter who's around and where you are, if you are upset you get a plushy in your arms within 3 minutes and the crew is very protective of it
-Anyone says anything bad and they're getting a whole pirate crew, most noticeable is Bepo, threatening them
Tumblr media
-He thinks it's interesting, WILL NOT JUDGE, THERE IS NO TEASING HERE
-He thinks you're adorable with them, you have your plushies he has his meriendas, perfect
-Sometimes you climb on his chest and show him your collection and any new ones you got, he'll help name any of them if you need help, other than that it's small comments like "that ones cute",, "I like its hair"
-He's also very fascinated by how soft they are, he likes petting them
-NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING, Cracker was being a dick (nothing new) and caught you with one of your plushies and he called you a baby, Katakuri was behind him at 5'11 taller
-Whenever he goes off for his duties, if he has spare time or if he sees a plushy he thinks you'll like he buys it,,, and maybe 5 more that he saw on the shelf
-Pudding definitely has plushies too, and Brulee probably has about 3, plushy club 👀
-He buys you really big plushies, like the huge teddy bears you can win at arcades or the body pillow sized ones, and he somehow finds ones bigger than you so now you basically have a bed made of plushies
