Your ask (series) ask title is- close enough. I now believe it was because I confused your headcanons for your character analysis, I don’t think there were many tags labelling one or the other, sorry for that. Headcanons of any kind are natural, I have learnt to wave off most, but as facts its a different story. I read a few of your character analysis and found them logical or close to mine, so when all of these headcanons (which I assumed was character analysis) came out it threw me off. (1/5)

(2/5) So I sought proof of that (main reason for questions, then diminishing heterosexual relationships) so I could analyse for myself. Out of the whole medieval theme, medieval royalty (should’ve used that instead) was the one I was picking on since its a major thing in all the instalments. I think its the only thing that is close to realistic compared to the rest of the theme. The amount seems micro compared to the ancients. Poor kids, born out of duty rather than love - but hey, history.

(3/5) Straight shipping gays as a “trend”- yaoi fangirls? I’ve read the percentage of LGBT is around 20% of the population, with the media I assumed it was more. I may be uncomfortable with it but I don’t believe anyone should be suppressed. I admit that appreciating turns comparing. I know that this is conceited coming from an anon but I can see why you compare yourself with Takumi; both of your anger was a natural response which shows your passion for what you believe in - but less deadly.

(4/5) I did find it hard to apologise in the past, I disappointed and hated myself every time I couldn’t do something so simple and right, then guilt will eat me alive. But I hate misunderstandings that I caused even more, giving the wrong impression of me (even as anon), so I force myself to apologise. But after I do the weight does lift off my shoulders, even more so if its received well. And if not? Well, I done what I can. I was actually expecting no replies, or a lashing - then I’ll retype.

(5/5) I doubt we’re the only ones who have a bone to pick with IS, though what game is perfect? Fates got too ambitious for such a limited time and had a divided dev team. “Hope you can forgive me and if not i’ll just get out of your way and wish you the best.” guessing since it wasn’t mentioned I’m not forgiven. Fair enough. But thank you for taking the time to read and reply. I would like to ask a final question though; Is Leo’s one-sided relationship with Camilla a headcanon too?

1)Well headcanons often grow naturally from analyses, and I just personally found Leon’s sexuality to fit in with what the game presented. Even when sticking with only what is shown, one can arrive at several different conclusions, and I don’t mean to say I have the gospel on pretty much anything in the game. But yeah, for the more subjective things I try to add “Personally” and “In my opinion” but I guess I am not always too thorough. Sorry about that.

2)The amount of same-sex relationships between royals/nobles was probably still significant, but it was much more hidden due to social and religious attitudes. We often never know for sure in most cases, since many accounts come from enemies. None of them would have been open about it themselves, so we can only make guesswork in most cases. And loveless unions were pretty much norm back in these times, due to everyone’s marriages being arranged. I’d say very few royals actually loved their spouses, no matter their sexual preferance.

3) Yaoi fangirls are usually recognizable in that they love gay ships but are disgusted by actual real life lgbt couples people. It’s essentially the female version of men lusting after lesbians. Not about the actual characters involved, and more just sticking two attractive bodies together. The actual spread of LGBT people is hard to measure, I imagine many aren’t open about it, and society as a whole still isn’t too accepting in many different ways. Better safe than sorry. And thank you for that. Haha;;; being compared to Takumi like this feels a bit weird,, but thanks again. His passion and anger are definitly the main reasons I identify with him besides insecurity.

4) Apologizing is certainly hard and I can understand your feelings on the matter. It shows a sense of maturity, some people never learn how to and I think that’s unfortunate.

5) Haha yeah, sometimes people are overly harsh on Fates (though I admit to being guilty of it myself at times. Still it has provided me with some of my favourite characters in the entire series). And oh no, that’s not what I meant at all. “Forgiveness” is a very heavy word to me, and I just didn’t think your slightly misworded ask needed it. I am definitly not mad at you anymore. ;;;And the information on Leo’s crush on Camilla comes from the “Making of Fire Emblem” Anniversary book. On his profile it listed his opinion on his silbings and stated for Camilla: “Beloved older sister. Loves her with emotions beyond the familial, but must hide his feelings.“. So yeah, it’s canon. Certainly fits in with his beahviour towards her.

I am glad we were able to clear things up and enjoyed our exchange. if you want to continue this though, I’d ask you to go off anon and message me, since this is a bit of an awkward way to talk haha;;;

Morgan lost any family he had left during the horrors of the Canadian Civil War, he lived on his own and carved out his own existence at eighteen years old. Adventure and magic only existed in fairy tales and daydreams, survival is all he knows anymore. The Civil War ends a little before the Eve Wars. So when the new laws after the Eve Wars come into place, his world was turned upside down and Canada's new government left little choice to the die-hard patriots. Finally escaping to the Sanq Kingdom wasn't the sanctuary he had hoped it would be. Add the former Gundam Pilots to the mix and he might just find his escape, or will he never find the freedom he craves?
