Lucifer doesn't bring it up for a while. A long while. The first time it comes up is when you sleep together for the first time. You awake to find him tracing a particularly large mark on your hip/stomach area, and you immediately cover up out of shame. He furrows his brow. "I'm sorry Luci, I'm just kind of insecure about them I guess?"

"There's no need, MC, I think every part of you is absolutely stunning."

Overally, he does not care at all. He does relate in a way though, he feels like his wings and your stretch marks are both places of slight shame for you.

Mammon is one who notices fairly early. You're reaching up to put something away after you've been transported to the Devildom, and he panics for a moment, "woah, how'd you get all those scars, MC?" He doesn't realize how insensitive the question is, but he feels like an ass when your immediately tug your shirt down.

"They're just stretch marks," you shrug him off, quickly going back to putting things away, more careful this time to not expose yourself.

They end up being one of the main reasons you put off having sex for the first time, and it takes some confrontation from Mammon for him to realize what's up. He asks you if you're just not ready to have sex or if you're not attracted to him. "Of course I'm into you, Mammon! I'm just, honestly, I'm insecure about the stretch marks all over me..."

"Treasure, that's ridiculous! You're gorgeous. I love you, all of you. And they're cool."

Leviathan doesn't notice until you point them out. He was talking about his insecurities and you we're like, "yeah, I kinda get it. I have these stretch marks all over! It's embarrassing!"

"Wha? Lemme see." Thankfully you're close enough at this point for human contact, and he's pretty amazed. "Those are so cool though! I-I, I like how the skin changes texture." He gently touches one on your stomach, before retracting his hand and apologizing.

Generally he actually loves the tactile stimulation from them. He adores being able to trace your skin and feel you. The emotional connection and physical are something he thrives from.

He absolutely adores them! Asmodeus is in love with all of you, ever part. He first notices one day while you're out shopping, trying on clothes, and you try on a crop top of sorts. He's aware of what they are and doesn't say anything, until you bring up how it shows them. "You should show of your tiger stripes more, MC! Rawr!" He makes a paw like a cat and giggles at you, smiling. "All jokes aside, you look absolutely lovely and I love this on you!"

Overall, he will go out of his way to show some love to them. He'll kiss them while you make love, or he'll give your belly a squeeze in general to see you jump!

Satan first notices when you're at a cat cafe, you leaned over to pet a kitty and he notices a particularly red mark. "Oh, MC, did a cat scratch you?" He leans towards you, nudging your shirt up. "No, that's just a stretch mark." He notices how you avert your gaze and tug your shirt down. He doesn't bring it up again.

It gets brought up again about a week later when things are getting steamy, and he's grabbing at your body, and you yelp. "Did I hurt you?" His brow is furrowed, he looks so guilty. "No no! I'm just, I'm just a little insecure is all. I'm sorry."

"You have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. I'm interested in every part of you, MC. And, I think they're interesting."

Beelzebub and Belphegor first notice at a fanghoul game! Beel is hugging Belphie, and next is you, and Beel sees your shirt ride up.

"Mc, what's that? Are you okay? Did someone hurt you?" Beel freezes where he stands, his brow furrowed.

"No, Beel, those are stretch marks. Some humans have them. Can we go home now?" Belphie answers for you, and you're thankful, as well as a little embarrassed.

Beel gives you a 2nd apologetic glance before moving on, and you all head home.

Overall, Beel does not seem to notice them most of the time. though he does like to grab onto your tummy when you have sex, and he will kill the stretch marks where he grabbed afterwards.

Belphagor is another who likes to trace your stretch marks as he dozes off. You always feel the tip of his finger grazing along the sensitive thin skin.

If someone breaks your heart he will be ready to throw hands,no one hurts their little siblings.

Like Lucifer,he adopted you and always claims to be "the one you choose to be with you first" making sure his brothers hear him.

He will help you make your homework. Even if he doesn't understand he will try his best.

Please refer to him sometimes as "big brother" he will die.

When he saves your ass from getting killed by lesser demons he will be ready to receive the biggest hug ever and is absolutely ready to be praised.

If he saves you and you say "thanks,big brother" now you have a problem. He will brag about it for a week (at least).

Will steal things from you to keep them with him when he is going thru an episode. It reminds him that someone thinks of him as worthy and love deserving.

Lord, I'm tired of "which ship is better" between the LS dynamics. They're the same people.

I was never a huge LS shipper. I was always either indifferent at best and annoyed at the decisions they made at most because some stuff would be done so much easier if either character took more incentive. Like, a lot of it is explained away as plot decisions, but thats neither here nor there.

I think the reason why people think it was a bad idea that Adrienette was paired now was because it feels too rushed... No, it wasn't. It feels rushed to you because all you saw was the stumbling on the words and longing stares. I guess in these people's eyes, they didn't hang out platonically enough.

I'm still indifferent to the LS in general. I find the Adrienette scenes cute, but arguing over which dynamic is best is just pointless blowing of air. Just write something if you're not happy with how something's going in the show.

You probably get asks like this all the time, so I apologize if this is kinda redundant, I just see the salt everywhere and it's just aggravating

No worries. It's valid to be frustrated with the fandom. I've always found arguments over which side is better to be moot because one side isn't better. Which side people like more is a matter of preference, but in the end, they're the same two people, so no side is intrinsically better or worse than another. It's reductive to think of the square that way, and it misses the point behind the square. I think of all the MC stans that like to post rankings of each side in the ladrien tag, and they always rank ladrien last for being boring or toxic or whatever. I think ranking them is dumb. Have a favorite, sure, but don't put down the other sides that makes no sense lol.

In the case of Adrinette "not being close friends" I'd agree, it's fundamentally misunderstanding their canon interactions. It gives the same energy as people who claimed Ladrien is only capable of standing and blushing around each other. Not only is it an intentionally shallow interpretation of their dynamic, it's also directly disproven in canon every time they come on screen. In Adrinette's case, yes, Marinette consistently fumbles around him, but she has always shown to calm down in the face of something serious. In Gorizilla, she runs around with him all day and talks to him normally because they have other shit going on. Her stammering always related to thinking of him romantically, but they have had numerous platonic interactions where she could talk to him fine, and in most of those interactions, Adrien confided in her. His trust of her has been building over each season. S1 we had the umbrella scene when he confessed he didn't have friends, we also had gamer when he expressed insecurity in his ability compared to her. S2 had a bunch, Gorizilla, Frozer, Mayura. He gave a whole fucking speech about how he was happy they were friends in Mayura. S3 we have Chameleon, Puppeteer 2, he stood up for her in Ladybug, he and Kagami begged her to run away with them in Heart Hunter.

He and Marinette have always been friends, and they have been making small strides each season. That's why she went from "just a friend" to "a very good friend" to "someone special to me." Adrien has been giving us check ins on their friendship since day 1. Their development was slower and more gradual than LN, and of course they're not as comfortable with each other as LN, but that's the point of s5. They're working through their issues. They just so happen to be doing it romantically. And to say that their love isn't as deserving because they're not entirely thick as thieves is a very narrow view of love. Just because adrinette isn't the best friends side at the beginning of s5 doesn't mean they don't deserve to be together if they want to be?? I know plenty of people irl who have best friends of the opposite gender that date people they're not as close to instead. The point of dating is to get closer to people, and that's what is happening in canon. Adrien said it himself in Transmission that he wanted things to be different with Marinette. He can't share his true feelings with anyone else because they don't understand and only see a marketing image. And we have seen that this season with people consistently brushing off their feelings in favor of their own ideas. Adrien and Marinette fall back on each other, and have been figuring out how to be an effective couple that meets each others needs. And that's incredibly sweet, and I think it's worth showing. Lots of cartoons paint this idealized version of love and put it up on a pedestal as a prize to be won. I think if this season ended with them revealing their identities and getting together, it would be perpetuating just that. That love is a prize to be won in the end, then after that you live happily ever after. But they stuck adrinette together mid season and are giving us a half season where they bumble around and figure love out. Their story isn't over just because they are together. Relationships are complicated and take work, and I appreciate that message from canon.

I think people are just looking for excuses to justify their anger, so they are twisting their interpretation of canon to suit their needs. It's a very common strategy among salters, I've seen it plenty of times. They find vague at best "evidence" of their claims that ignores tons of context and other instances that disprove their arguments. It's not new to me, honestly. I do actually feel kind of bad for them though. Sitting at home all angry and missing out on the absolute bliss that is romantic Adrinette. What a miserable existence./j

Today I'm feeling a little extra single, so I'm just gonna go through a list of different ways to show trust or intimacy between two characters (or real life ppl, I mean u never know).

Hands. Omg hands. Mostly hands touching each other. This can be a person's own hands touching themselves to establish a level of comfort in their body, or with someone else showing deeply intimate feelings. If it's their palms touching it could be them connecting their energies (like when they make their pairing official), if it's finger tips it could show a trust big enough for experimentation and so on. Hands communicate a lot, but especially intimacy so please use hands in your writing.

Eye-contact. It can be a show of a characters general kindness and confidence if they, instead of nodding at people when saying hi on the street, just keep eye contact and smile. Eye-contact can be used in an alluring and flirtatious way. You could write whole paragraphs of your MC trying to decipher another person's Eye-contact. It also upgrades every smutty chapter by 100% because it makes the characters confront each other and brings them back to reality. It makes a scene much more real. It can also be used to establish a characters confidence - where are they looking? Are they thinking abt where they are looking? What does this mean?

Communication. This may just be me longing for a relationship where I don't have to be the mature one, but communicating is so fucking sexy. Literally, communication is the best way to show trust between your characters, and it will probably influence your readers in a positive way if you sneak it in there.

Ears, for some reason. Once again, this is related to communication and listening to other people. If they notice another person's ears while they're talking, it could show-case listening. Also, noticing little things about people in general is rally intimate and can be used to share that, especially if it's not a very observant person.

Sharing physical things with emotional importance to the character. Fx. letting someone/a character borrow ur MC's favorite book or Lipgloss, and the character/person makes sure it gets back in good condition. This will show that they trust and/or care for the other person and respect their interests. As someone(a Taurus) who gets very possessive over my favorite things, this is definitely a huge one for me, so don't be fooled by how small/general it is.

If it's parental love/intimacy/trust, I find that arguments can be a good show for it as well. A safe environment is also one where you/a character is allowed to lash out when their feelings get too big to handle. It shows maturity and patience from both sides if an argument can happen, and both learn from it constructively.

Discussing art. Literally such a cute trope I love it deeply. Especially when the two characters disagree, and while it isn't mentioned or made too obvious, it's still clear that they obviously respect the other person's opinion. It is, however, a very nice playground for flirting, like with every other fight (enemies to lovers fans have a point).

Apologizing. Need I say more? No, but I will. Apologizing shows an ability to take accountability for ones actions, which is needed when showing trust and intimacy. Even if it's just a small "I'm sorry" after accidentally hitting someone on the nose. Don't overuse it, though, cause that might make the character seem insecure (which could be intentional, but just showing through apologizing gets boring and annoying over time).

Have them stand/lay next to each other unintentionally and without them noticing until a little late in the moment. Like if they get new seats in class, and one doesn't notice until 20 minutes into the first class. When they do notice, though, they might start panicking a little bc "omg they're r i g h t t h e r e" and then they make a move or smth (idk it's ur story).

Exchanging annotated books. It's like a peak in the other persons/characters brain. Besides, books are incredibly intimate and the favorites will typically be ones that a person relates to in some way, shape or form, making just that a simple peak at their emotions. Books about bookworms are adorable and I love it very much.

Okay that was a long list. Obviously don't overuse any of them, cause then they lose their power, but I do believe that this is a nice little connection. Feel free to add onto it, but I can't come up with anymore just in this moment.

I do hope this inspired you in any way to write any of these in to your wip, because I find them adorable.

* He doesn’t care wether he’s objectively right or not-and since when was beauty something that can be decided by a checklist or popularity?

* The gentleness in MC’s eyes, the way they laugh, their gait-everything was absoloutely stunning to him, and he couldn’t help but voice his thoughts as much as possible

* He was taken aback the first time MC laughed to his face when he mentioned just how beautiful they are. Why were they laughing? Did he say something funny?

* “Ah, nice one Jumin”, they’d sigh, tears forming at the corners of their eyes from how hard they’d laughed, “but it’s not nice to joke around like that.”

* He was so confused???? Nothing of what he said was meant to be funny??? When he told them so, MC just shook their head and told him it’s impossible that he’s serious. How could he?? It’s Jumin freaking Han??? The most beautiful man alive???? And he was calling them beautiful?!

* The mere thought of MC thinking of themselves as anything else than heavenly infuriated him. He needed his beloved to know just how he saw them.

* And so he comissioned a painter to paint MC the way he viewed them; their appearance exactly as is, only with a pair of wings sprouting from their back, the light in the painting’s background forming an almost halo around their head.

* He brought them to the painting after a night out, pulling MC into an embrace as they both looked to the painting.

* “You’re my light in the dark, an angel that saved me when I needed help the most. I’ll never let you think of yourself as anything less than that.”

* He knew it’s not possible to change MC’s thoughts from one day to the other. But he’d try. God, he’d try.

ZEN:

* Dating an actor was hard

* Dating an actor that was as beautiful and charismatic as Zen was even harder

* And dating a literal marble statue when you have the self-esteem of a limp noodle is nearly impossible;

* Zen would constantly compliment MC, call them his beloved prince/princess/royalty, his sweetheart, his beloved; and each time MC would brush it off, would laugh a forced giggle and leave it at that

* Zen frowned each time, but he didn’t give up. Instead he only upped his ante, complimenting MC about anything and everything he found attractive about them, from their delicious cooking, to the way their cheeks blushed when he kissed them.

* And still-nothing! MC would roll their eyes, laugh, or flat-out ignore Zen’s words, moving on as if he’d never uttered them.

* Eventually Zen called MC out on it, furstrated as to why they refused to even acknowledge Zen’s words, and the answer...boy, it tore his heart in two.

* “I’m just-” MC started, their words caught in their throat, “I’m not-you’re you you know? You’re gorgeous, you’re funny, you’re sweet and I’m just-I’m nothing near that, I don’t-” tear formed at their eyes, threatening to spill “I don’t know what you see in me.”

* Zen was FLOORED. His sweetheart felt this way all this time and he didn’t even realise?!?!?!

* From then on he swore he’d never shut up about how gorgeous his MC was. NEVER. He’d tell them how much he loved them and why until his dying breath, promising to show them every day until they started to believe it too.

* He’d absoloutely talk like the love-struck fool he is about MC in interviews, telling the entire world how and why he was so enarmored with this person. He’d let no person think anything less of his MC, not even MC themselves.

V:

* This boy LOVES MC. Do you hear me? LOVES.

* Everything about them is just-God!! He just loves them so much!! Everything they do, eveyrthing they say, they’re his saving grace, he loves them like a praying man loves his gods-his love is bigger than religion, bigger than life.

* To him it’s almost terrifying how much he could fall for another person. When he thought there’d be no one else for him than Rika, when he thought he would never deserve love again, when he pondered wether he’d ever felt love at all-this single person came around and swept all those worries away, replacing them isntead with gentle kisses, touches so tender they made his skin crawl. His love was terryfing, and he wanted to let it seep into his bones, fill him from the inside out.

* So he wanted to do nothing more than to let MC know of this, everyday of his life. He’d greet them in the morning with kisses and compliments, loving even the way their hair would stick up in all sorts of directions when they lifted their head off of the pillow.

* He was so proud of MC, reminding them how smart they were whenever he saw them working hard at their job or studies, placing a kiss to the nape of their neck and telling them how bright they were.

* And yet MC never seemed to acknowledge any of his words. They’d smile, a forced thing that pained V’s heart to see, would mumble a thanks and immediatly carry on the conversation as if he’d never mentioned anything in the first place.

* He wasn’t a fool-he’d been at the very same place MC was, knew what it was like to hear words you couldn’t believe in. It took him so long to start believing in himself, and it was only with MC’s help that he could ever start doing so. MC was his pillar, and he wanted to be their pillar too.

* He tried to explain why he felt the way he did-prove to MC that each of his compliments was fact-based. They were beautiful because beauty is subjective, and to him beauty came from within. They were smart because they worked hard and were always eager to learn, were bright because their smile would always make him smile too.

* He often centered his pieces, be it paintings or photographs, around MC, would try and capture the reasons he loved them so with his lens and paintbrush, mere mediums to express the feelings burning him from the bottom of his ribcage.

* It wasn’t easy. If he could open MC’s chest and take their insecurities out of their soul he would, but it doesn’t work that way, so for now he’d be content to just love MC until they too started to love themselves. It worked with him afterall, and he wanted it to work for MC too.

* He wanted to be their light too.

SEVEN:

* Mr.Insecurities over here never accepts compliments either, turning them into jokes or flat out rolling his eyes at them, thinking it’s just irony.

* So he instantly knew MC does the same when, as he leaned back after kissing them and telling them how beautiful they were, MC simply rolled their eyes, a snarky smile on their lips.

* Seven frowned at that, grabbed MC’s cheeks with his hands, making their lips turn into a silly fishy pout.

* “Now you listen here you sass master” he chided, “you. are. beautiful. In every single way. Words won’t bring you down!”

* ‘Seven are you quoting Christina Aguilera to me right now-”   “YES I DO SHE HAS A POINT, SHUT UP OKAY”

* Jokes aside, he let go of MC’s cheeks to bring them into a bone-crushing hug, tugging their head to his chest.

* “Listen, I mean it. I do. I know, I know how hard it is to see it when you believe the world’s out to get you, how you’re conditioned to think of yourself as less than you really are but-you’re my whole world you know?” his voice shook, softer than MC ever heard  him speak before. There was a profound gentleness there, a vulnerability they doubted he’d ever shown anyone before.

* He leaned back, allowing MC to see his small smile, the way his frows burrowed as he bit back tears in his bright eyes.

* He kissed MC, soft and quick before leaning back. “I know it’s cliche as fuck but-I just wish you could see yourself the way I look at you. You’re so damn amazing and I really thought I was no match to you-I could never for the life of me figure out why you decided to be with me.”

* MC opened their mouth, tried to argue that no, it eas the exact opossite. He was beautiful, brilliant, talented and so soft, a boy with so much love to give but no one to give it to-MC was honored to be on the receiving end of Seven’s love, and they wanted-no, needed him to know just that. But the moment they tried to speak, Seven put a finger to their lips, shushing them so he could continue.

* “I’m not gonna lie and say I don’t think this way sometimes still because yeah, I do. You know I do. But it’s not-I don’t think so all the time now, not anymore. Because of you. You showed me love when no one else would, and it made me think that maybe-just maybe, I might not be as shitty a person as I might think I am.”

* He shrugged, running a hand through his hair nervously. “I’m not saying that love fixes everything-you and I both know that’s not true” he said with a bitter smile, remembering the hardships, the years worth of fights and tears they both went through to reach this stage in their relationship, “but it helps. It really fucking helps, and I hope you’ll eventually come to realise it to.”

* He brought out his hand to you, extending his pinky. “I’m not asking you to change right away, I just-just promise me you’ll try alright? Maybe start with not rolling your eyes at compliments anymore. Promise?”

* And well, who can ever say no to those eyes? A pinky promise is a pinky promise. So you’ll try. You’ll try because, at the end of the day, love doesn’t fix everything-but it sure fucking helps.
