#random thoughts#dream daddy#i am giving him more personality traits because i feel like the game didn't give him enough motivation#he's a pretentious hipster for literature and is embarrassed his likes wrestling because it's 'low-brow'#he no longer has the wrestling memorabilia room he has like. a cabinet in his bedroom he keeps locked#the main reason he and ernest are at odds is because he indirectly shames ernest for his interest in low-brow romantic movies#and ernest is secretly into more 'high-brow' media (like the works of john steinbeck) but he keeps it a secret from his dad#because hugh would think he won#anyway ernest was a surrogate baby which he didn't know about#he just always assumed he was adopted so when he found out hugh was his bio dad and just never told him it got him pissed#thinking hugh and his husband always intended to have another kid with his husband's dna too but they divorced before that happened#anyway that's why ernest feels so emotional about adopting duchess cordelia
