i probably remember it more bc i was one of the people who sort of started dawnette (which was mostly because there really weren't a lot of popular f/f ships other than courn at the time) and then when they started trashing dawnette in favor of courtné it stung bc like. they'd previously kicked up a fuss about how hating a fanon ship was a personal insult to the shippers

YEAH its not fair cuz courtné isnt any less crack than dawnette, i only really liked the former at the time because of peer pressure anyway, dawnette is good and makes sense and it was on td ship tumblr cuz people wanted it to be
