And, we end the “summer” theme songs with this one, back to the Movida (I’m sorry, but there were really great songs during that time).

Radio Futura (”Future Radio”) was another of the big groups during the Movida, starting in 1979 and dissolving in 1992. They have some iconic songs, although their most famous one is probably this one, “Escuela de Calor”.

Translating to “Heat School”, I like to think this is what happens in Madrid during summer, it turns into a Heat School where everything is dark and mysterious. It really feels eerie going to Gran Vía or Alcalá during August, when nobody is there, except for  a few tourists.
