located somewhere in a swampy town somewhere in the southeastern united states, there is a town named Pridemoor
Alastor C. Boucher takes the place of Cecil (although, i suppose, he is a little more Kevin than Cecil)
Lucifer Morningstar takes the place of Carlos as an Ecologist, who came to study PrideMoor alongside his assistant/daughter, Charlie.
Vaggie (Virginia) Zavala takes the place of Dana. Charlie eventually leaves PrideMoor in search of Vaggie
