Short hair Clarke is superior, so as a default, my Clarke's have short hair.

The ones that do have long hair are vamp!Clarke from Amor Mortis, she has these very romantic long blonde curls. Feral alpha Clarke has long hair when Lexa gets her from the pound, she does cut her hair because it's too matted. Nerd Clarke also has longer hair until she goes to college, and bedwarmer Clarke's hair should also be long when she's taken to the tower. Knight Clarke also has long hair, it adds to the handsomness of her as a knight i believe 😌

My light au Clarke has phases, its never super long but she does let it grow sometimes, other times its really short. Lexa is the one who cuts her hair so they let it grow out because they are busy until Clarke complains its too long and then Lexa cuts it a little too short because she thinks Clarke looks so cute like that 🥰
