Friendly reminder for those uninitiated: TB (tuberculosis) requires antiviral drugs and there are really only two main drugs doctors prescribe to treat it. One absolutely destroys your liver while also destroying the TB virus, while the other only slightly damages your liver but also makes all bodily secretions a particularly fluorescent shade of orange. So, yeah, if you want to flirt with death and contract tuberculosis aka The Consumption, be ready to have to take at least a 6 month course of antivirals, while unable to take tylenol or drink alcohol, AND have your urine, snot, tears, saliva, and other secretions all be weirdly orange the entire time.

the anti-quarantine (a method of disease spread management known to be effective for several thousand years atp) hysteria is so bad that I’ve seen people push back on quarantining mandates for people with active TB infections. I really think we’re heading towards extinction atp.
