face, motion, and canvas for your screenplay men?
WHEEEE YAY MY SCREENPLAY MEN YAY
first up, answering these for thomas!
face: describe your oc's face. what's their smile like? are their orbs cerulean? what would someone notice first when looking at them?
thomas is. he's like Deceptively young looking almost. he's in his early twenties and Yes he has a sharp jawline and high cheekbones but his face is also Very Round in general, which makes him look more kid-like than he feels like he is. he's also got a lot of freckles, which he hates but what can you do. his smile? infectious. wide and beaming and makes everyone else around him smile. i don't think he Embodies the essence of Cerulean Orbs but he does have blue eyes (pretty dark blue, not all that piercing). i think folks would be most inclined to notice his almost reddish hair or his Very prominent nose before anything else
motion: how does your oc move? how does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?
because of his Job and his Reputation, thomas has trained himself to walk Powerfully and With Great Authority, though he naturally is much more loose and light with his motions. he's someone who's unconsciously mastered the art of codeswitching to address the superior officers he's supposed to be a part of and the midshipmen who are often intimidated by him, so he can be both Stern in his motions and also very friendly. his naval uniform is. well it is what it is. and i think thomas is Shockingly coordinated most of the time, though it's exclusively when he's not paying that much attention to his own body
canvas: does your oc have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? do they display or cover them up at all?
hmm! had not considered this one! my first thought is almost no to all of the above? i think he probably has a couple burn scars on his hands from pistol misfires and Maybe some knuckle scars from fights. but no tattoos, piercings, or obvious other markings! if he has any others they have not Come To Me yet because they're for sure hidden under his uniform
EDWARD NOW
face: describe your oc's face. what's their smile like? are their orbs cerulean? what would someone notice first when looking at them?
this bitch is Offputting god bless. face a little too sharp. kind of too-wide eyes. He Autism Stares At You. scar at his jawline. he rarely smiles but when he does it's generally pretty restrained and you almost never see his teeth. it's very wry. this bitch Does have cerulean orbs in spirit but his eyes are brown. they're just kind of pale and He Fucking Looks At You. looking at him, someone would probably notice that his mouth pulls down at one corner, toward the scar on his jaw!
motion: how does your oc move? how does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?
as with everything, edward moves very deliberately and reservedly. he's almost freakishly still when he's sitting down, and all of his actions are very contained and slow. when he's doing surgery, he's a lot more frantic, but even then that's just because it is a High Stress Situation like my god. if anything, his hands shake when he's anxious, but he's also incredibly coordinated in his work. Light Touch with him
canvas: does your oc have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? do they display or cover them up at all?
since edward was on the run longer than thomas, i think yes? a few more injuries, a few more scars on his legs and arms from various Incidents, and i can also imagine he would have had a learning curve with his surgical tools, so he's got scalpel cuts and burns and shit all over his hands and fingers. he may also have a tattoo but i haven't vibed out where or what it is yet
considered doing these for collinson then realized he wasn't fleshed out enough in my brain yet lmao
