might have found a choir group to sing in :D
#the lady who played our berthe in pippin is a college choir director#(and literally after our first music rehearsal was like “so do you go to [local college]?” and tried to recruit me lol)#and apparently the topic came back up when she and her husband had dinner with my parents the other week#so i reached out and found that she does conduct a group that's not specific to college students!#she's going to send me the info so hopefully I can hop on next semester :D#i was in choir all through high school and my one year of college (chamber singers ftw!) and i really miss singing with a choir
