I love how any time there's EVER a message on this sight that's like "censorship is bad", "not everyone copes the same way", "being a dick to people for no reason is unacceptable behavior no matter what", someone in the notes is inevitably going "OP is a sick freak!! learn to recognize dog whistles people!!!", and it can range from Your Worst Enemy Actually Said Something Sensible For Once, to literally just some dude is chilling and minding their own business and hasn't actually done anything wrong, and the person whining and crying about it just thinks they're Gross And Bad.

And sometimes if the message is one that tumblr REAAAALLY doesn't like (I think the most consistent one I've noticed that tumblr hates is "bullying people is wrong, even if the person you're mocking is literally the spawn of satan himself, you won't actually accomplish anything with them, you won't even make them feel bad about themselves in any way, and those you don't want to hurt will be hurt by your words") people denouncing the post get WAY more popular than anyone agreeing with it.

And basically I'm just really, really tired. I block so many people on this hellsite and it never ends.

#chaotic rants #shoutout to the person that tried to claim people only call tumblr a hellsite #bc of the dashcon thing #which is. soooo funny because i was around during dashcon #i didnt go i saw basically nothing about it but tumblr also legit became a hellsite #the kind of hellsite where basically anything and everything would get you labelled a homophobe #and people were saying shading is “just an excuse to be racist”#also pointing out certain characters are canonically het or at least bi is Terrible And Bad but #also also pointing out certain characters are canonically gay/trans/ace/etc is ALSO BAD because they're “bad representation”#genuinely could not and still cannot win unless you subscribe to the popular fanon #to this day and age tumblr is still an absolute hellsite and it has almost nothing to do with dashcon #and everything to do with how toxic and entitled people have gotten #try and convince me the only reason people get mad at certain takes isnt just because #they're upset they dont get to be the bullies they want to be consequence-free #go ahead i'll wait
