I painted Sadira a lot in the top 5 fav AUs of her.

Middle one is her original Hawksong version, then from the top left is Arcane, then Mass Effect, RDO, and then Sadira as Aphrodite. They all have different styles and lighting.

Sadira belongs to @sinedra and is her oc that is married to my oc Ulyesses.

Nerdy Tumblr Exclusive Spreads

I've been having a lot of fun lately working up some spreads that are deeply nerdy, because I am a dork and I love smashing together my favorite interests. For now, I'm keeping these spreads tumblr exclusive, but I will never say no to tips on my ko-fi page for a read well done.

Currently, I have available two insight style spreads and one advice one. The insight spreads are a Kingdom Hearts Dive to the Heart, looking into seven facets of your personal power based on the seven Princesses of Heart, and a Tri-Force spread that looks at your active and passive manifestations of Power, Wisdom, and Courage. The advice spread is my interpretation of spinning a sakkri, based on the ahnleh charm from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes Kiesha'ra series.

Going through the entirety of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books. Just finished the Maeve’ra series, gonna restart the Den of Shadows (I’ve read the original quartet, but not the extended series), then the Kiesha’ra series…and I just ordered the Mancer series from ThriftBooks, so YAY.

You know the saying "looks can be deceiving" and that applies for many of the Serpiente. The rat snakes (black copper rat snake, copperhead rat snake, and the trinket snake) can have black or brown hair, but some individuals can be born with blond hair. They can also be born with amber eyes. Combine that with the blond hair and the poor serpent looks very similar to a member of the Shardae line, minus the feathers on the nape of the neck.

This lady isn't a rat snake (though her mate is). She is an albino Reticulated Python (and her son will inherit her snake form). I found an image on Google about a purple phase and used that imagine for her colors.

This is Pamela. She is a Serpiente woman who briefly appears in Hawksong. She is one of the few serpents who oppose Zane's decision to name Danica his mate and naga. Since she was referred to by name, I decided to try fleshing her out a bit.

The first thing I did was figure out what kind of snake she was. Obviously, she isn't a cobra, but that still leaves us with seven possible options. I finally decided to make her a Reticulated Python and she will be an albino colormorph.

Then I focused on her family.

I decided to make the other named serpent (Kendrick) be her mate and together they are now the parents of Urban. Urban would also be a Reticulated Python, but he is a normal-colored one.

I have been thinking of maybe giving Urban a sister. That one Serpiente baker who appeared in Wyvernhail (Arquee(?) who will be the mate of Salokin, her fellow co-conspirator.

I see Pamela as being a scholar, though she can dance. Probably not the best dancer in the world, but she does a decent job and her mate appreciates her efforts when she tries. Urban had an early passion for dance and Pamela encouraged him to follow his dreams.

Pamela is very wary of the Avians, even though years have passed since the war ended. She is not very happy when Urban reveals to has fallen in love with Marus, but her heart melts when she learns that Marus has been kicked out and disowned by his family. She declares that he will always be welcome in her house.

Pamela later meets Marus's mother in the market and totally rubs in how much happier Marus is without Jeanne and her stuck-up family.

Spin a sakkri spread

As yall know, I was obsessed with Hawksong and the rest of the Kiesha'ra as a kid. So when I found this write up the author did of the ahnleh, I knew I had to turn it into a tarot spread.

My Spin a Sakkri spread is good for immediate advice on a current decision or problem you're facing. The she card frames the present moment, the point of decision. o'she reveals a past point that is still influencing the present. a'she is one of many possible futures. Ahnmik illuminates that which binds you, freezes you, or perhaps stabilizes you. Anhamirak liberates, burns, and sparks change. And the Free Will card speaks to how you can impact the course of sheni, the ever-flowing line of time as it marches through Mehay.
