i'm just gonna write a quick thing is always such a scam bc i'll be 3.5k words in and the Thing hasn't even started yet (and still i'm surprised every time smh)

#the kas takes care of steve fic is gonna be just like the high yearning hours fr there is soooooo much exposition #and it's not even great or descriptive exposition full of emotions and impressions and all. this one is static and frigid and steve #is sooo fucked up but it's subtle enough that it's all really just cold rather than frayed edges painful to read yknow #it's kinda unlike most of the things i've written yet??? maybe it'll turn into that still (i think it will)(it's a healing story after all)#steddie
