backrooms/liminal space au squiddo! It’s backrooms in the liminal space sense, no giant beasts (at least not usually.) most entities in this backrooms are peaceful or don’t even comprehend humans lol

squiddo has been here for a long time, perhaps forever. the mold on her clothes and the leaves in her hair show that (there are no nearby trees) but she’s a human she promises !! (humans would cast a shadow)

ashswag is a newer resident of the backrooms who fell in only a month ago! Squiddo is rather thrilled to have a new friend and intelligent company. Don’t get her wrong she loves the glass worm noodles and the long leg beasts and the giant fish guy and all the other creatures but they aren’t very good conversationists if you get her meaning.

but now ash is here! and they’re going to have so much fun!
